I had NO IDEA that roof dribbling is considered a really hard move... I've been thinking it's one of the basics, and feeling really bad that I still couldn't manage it after trying for hours and hours!

I feel like a pro now. I can (not consistently (yet!)) do any of those, and used them with good results. And I also rebound the roll to the LB so I could boost and roll at the same time during aerials. So good decissions, after two days of aclimatisation I am already doing better than before.

+SPB HD Yeah, that the movement is bound to the car broke my brain more than once and I'm still sometimes flipping in the wrong direction. I would like to see how much of a difference it would make if it was camera bound.
The key to car control is knowing how to do it and repitition basically, but if you're talking about acute moves then you'll just pick them up over time
Another method to get back quickly while driving backwards (or if you have no boost) is double jumping in the direction you want to go. You get every time you make this "flip" a little boost and you're almost as fast as boosting the whole way.
Now how do you do the shot midair? i realize you have to jump once, then boost into the sky and then do the jump forward for hitting the ball, but when i try that, i cant shoot, even tho i only pressed jump once
From experience, I "master" #10 I usually hit the ball first but.. from all that experience it's actually better to let the opponent hit the ball first because it will always result in a "You hit the ball, he hit the ball after then it's on your zone" or "You let him hit, then hit the ball after it's on their zone" BUT don't slow down at start you still need to make it tight but let yourself be slower than him !

One of the best skills is purposely shooting the ball too high so you can dunk it immediately after it has hit the wall above the goal, saving this dunk is almost impossible if the defender isn't prepared for this
