Perspective from July 2018: Most of these skills are must haves to compete in Diamond-ish, While the pro's have moved far beyond even this video. Things not mentioned at all: (because 19 months ago they weren't a thing yet.) Wavedashes: faster than boosting, fewer boost required, used when landing on the ground from low height like a wall or backboard by dodging into the ground while hoding slide. Can even be chained together. Flip resets: Being allowed another jump/dodge in air by "landing" on the ball while flying through the air. Things that changed: Backboard: Defenses have learned to adept to passes and shots against the backboards. Infield Passes have replaces backboard plays as the hardest to defend. Wall-Mechanics: Players can litterally do anything with the ball on the wall as they can do on the ground. Also the ceiling is being utilised.

I am superchampion aswell and I think you can, ofc you need aerial skills but if your super solid on the ground and in defence you could, but im talking about real solid. I am not saying you arent able to fly at all, but if you win every 50/50 and make very good dribles and power shots you have a good chance in 2s so, and in 1s aswell

Had the best fake out yesterday on a break.. I double jumped straight over the ball while full speed, I assume they thought I was going for a full speed hit so they all just double jumped in place etc.. and my team mate zoomed in all muscle hamster style and lightly tapped it in :) I know it’s not as cool as seeing it, but It was still cool to visualize it and then make the play actually happen! The simplest way is to jump, hold boost, and while still holding boost press jump again. You can also start boosting BEFORE you do your first jump. You then simply keep hold of boost and do a double jump.
Yeah, fo sho. You 'use less boost' because the double jumps make your car go higher, faster, so you don't need to hold the boost button as long to get to the same height.

When you said using a "fraction" of the boost you normally would, I imagined a small portion, only using a bit of your boost for the initial move, and then holding down the boost button but with it not depleting. But I suppose 50% (or thereabouts) is still a fraction. Thanks for clarifying.

eddebrock That happened to me as well... I was so angry all the time because I always missed the ball when I attempted to fly up... I am quite a new player, just 100 hours now, but I have learnt to fly and do air dribbles as well! I was so happy! Just take a car you like, I would recommend the Dominus, Breakout, or Batmobile as they are the besy at doing aerials. Go to the aerial All Star training and just practise flying... Use a controller if you don't already, because it wil help you a lot. At the moment you are trying to just hit the ball, don't get angry if it doesn't go into the goal just yet. Just make sure you can determine a flight trajectory of the ball ⚽ and then pick a path on that line to fly to it and hit the ball... When you are able to hit those very well, then you need to go to the aerial Rookie and Pro training and try to get at least 80% in each if them... When you are able to do aerials like that, you will be ready! Tips: 1) Always have ballcam on. 2) To make it easier make sure you position your self so the ball comes straight towards you. 3) Sometimes feather your boost. Make sure you go high up and then when you're are coming down (because of the gravity) tap your boost so that you are able to touch the ball. 4)Do not touch the ball with the underside of your car. 5) Always double jump.
Arka Roy sometimes double jumping is not advised since u can save the jump for dodging towards the ball and use the underside gives it soft touch suitable for sharp redirect example if the ball is high above the goal(it's an all star way of hitting)
The half flip can be done with the steam controller and other controllers with back pedals easily by canceling a backwards flip and pressing one of the two back pedals. You will need to set the keybinds for back pedals on E or Q. (Air Roll)
There are no excuses, I also play with a keyboard and I can follow them. It depends on each one you feel comfortable with: Keyboard or controller(of course there are somethings you can't do with the keyboard and mouse default setings, like swivel your cam, but you can change the controls :p)

JayRay00 double jumping will get you to top speed so you'll only use boost to stay fast rather than to get fast too.

The half flip can be done with the steam controller and other controllers with back pedals easily by canceling a backwards flip and pressing one of the two back pedals. You will need to set the keybinds for back pedals on E or Q. (Air Roll)

There are no excuses, I also play with a keyboard and I can follow them. It depends on each one you feel comfortable with: Keyboard or controller(of course there are somethings you can't do with the keyboard and mouse default setings, like swivel your cam, but you can change the controls :p)
