Good point!!! I got the Cummins out of a 1995 F700 that I paid $400 for it. I parted that truck out and made money. I got the NV4500 out of a 2000 Dodge 2500 24V that I paid 2k. I parted it out saved the engine and and trans and still made money!!! I did have to pay $300 out of pocket and horse traded some parts for the Gear Vendors. Nice Catch!!!
Hey man, awesome video! Have you got the Cummins in yet? I've got an 88 E250. 4x4 setup with OBS leaf front and rear already and a 7.3IDI. Wanting to swap it out for a Cummins as it's done a head. Looking everywhere for anyone who has done this swap before! Curious about mounts, fitment etc.
I got the 4th Econoline mounts from DCS(Diesel Conversion Specialists) and modified them to work on the 3rd Gen. fits great other then the fuel shutoff solenoid on the P-pump. I relocated it to behind the P-pump for added clearance.
