Update if people see this: I worked around grasping mails having annoying prefixes by 3-way splitting the mail with black morrigan, then hoping the global defence mod gets isolated Whether or not it gets isolated you reforge defence the other two grasping mails for 3 NNN prefixes (relative to the necrotic armour) then recomb and pray. It was a 33% chance of success compared to the 10% chance I was initially expecting (still cost me ballpark of 90div just to prepare the mail, considering mails go around 25-30 div right now on trade). I also settled for a 28% necrotic armour (base is around 15div instead of 35+ div for 29%) and got insanely lucky by hitting everything on the necrotic armour recombs 😅 Was definitely worth the hassle of going through all that ==================== All of the grasping mails left on trade atm don't have the desired NNN prefixes anymore. How should we go about preparing it if that's the case, or should I just settle for the normal necrotic armour instead ? I was thinking that I could prepare an STR armour w/ 3 NNN prefixes and try to transfer the global defence mod there (72%*(3/20) chance of getting global defence and 2 NNN prefixes) But that seems to balloon the costs, considering each grasping mail costs 20d already :< Or just yolo annul then try to prefix cannot be changed -> reforge defence then pray you get NNN mods?

Great video! I have a 4-mod necrotic armor with suppress, intel, flat eva/ES, 50% Global defense, and also a 4-mod 29% necrotic with suppress, intel, flat ES/eva, % ES/EVA. What is the best way to make the 5-mod 29% necrotic?

I finagled mine by buying a grasping mail then 3-way splitting it, then reforge defence the other two w/ NNN mods for recombing back XD Still damn expensive though, but not impossible. Preparing grasping mail base now costs 80d instead of 25d :(
You can try to get armour mods on it but it won't be cheap. Prefix can't be changed and then reforge defence can roll armour mods (but also can roll defence mods that are not NNN mods). I would suggest test any craft with craft of exile before attempting to do this - just to simulate the craft and test the probabilities.
I just finished upgrading my character in jewels/talent/setup yesterday and i was torn between going through the route of purity of lightning or grace... i had already settled on T2 T2 prefixes and got aura perfect lol. So i simply dropped arctic armour and then i went blasting exiles in t17 (possessed) and gave it a try on all ubers... did not have an issue at all. I tried running all of the auras (6) with 3 enlighten but having enough mana for 1 hit only was not fun haha
Sounds pretty optimised - well done mate! Yeh enough mana for 1 hit is a bit rough. Think it's fine on bosses but mapping wise might not feel as good if you get some less mana recovery / regen / leech mods.
For a NNN prefix couldnt you get it to 2 prefix 2 suffix, craft suffix, conq exalt slam, remove crafted mod, prefixes cant be changed, reforge influence? Then even if you get 3p 1s you can multimod + craft before recombo
Probably not a good idea, since multi mod is an exclusive mod and can block the global defence we are trying to move over. There are more NNN prefix mods than suffix, so typically I like to use conq exalt on guaranteeing an another suffix mod.
bro im new one in poe crafting, why do u use aspects from bestiary? whats the reason? P.S. eng is not ma native language, without subs its hard to get ur point, so i could miss smth in video, if so i apologise in advance
The aspect craft is because it is an exclusive modifier, which can be used for exclusive mod blocking for making the 4 mod feeder. I don't really have a written guide for this one, but I suggest you check out some of my other videos (th-cam.com/video/1_SMIQjdiYY/w-d-xo.html) where I go into a bit more depth on the recombination mechanics.
@@Sheepishly123 btw its not dead base 10:10 u can add greater exarch and it will be dominant on the item so u sdtill can annul prefix if u want. and i check few your video and still cant get the point of exclusive skill what is the rule for it? that i cant get more than 1 exclusive? same as i cannot get 2 essence mod? right?
Yeh that's right. so if say between the 2 input items, you have like 6 exclusive mods, only 1 of them can be selected. The other exclusive mods, even tho they are not selected, they contribute to higher percentage of the resulting item been 2 mods or 3 mods. So it is a good idea to use exclusive mods blocking to help improve the chances of crafting.
Not sure where you heard me mention essence mod? We definitely only have global defence as the exclusive mod that can be moved over. If there is an essence mod, this craft will fail so we should try to avoid essence mods.

Ah righto - so what I was referring to here is that the mirror chests people are mirroring all have essence intelligence mod which can be divines up to 58. But the naturally occurring T1 intelligence, which is what we are going for, only goes up to 55.

@@Sheepishly123 Sorry I should have been more clear. We have a Grasping mail, it's just not with 2 NNN prefixes.
You can try to get armour mods on it but it won't be cheap. Prefix can't be changed and then reforge defence can roll armour mods (but also can roll defence mods that are not NNN mods). I would suggest test any craft with craft of exile before attempting to do this - just to simulate the craft and test the probabilities.

I see that you mentioned essence mod in the clips, how does it possible to move to other chest with global defence, i thought it was a exclusive mod?

~2k ish so just under a 10% boost to my survivability and dmg.

Yeh - any time you recombine it's random which base it selects. So is a 50-50.
