- Well after multiple flights on my Freewing Banshee I decided to give my review of this sporty little EDF. And in the way of a review of the Freewing Banshee I just have to break it down into my likes and dislikes.
Likes:
1 like the color scheme and white painted foam
2 like the power this little edf produces.
3 Like the stability and control of the plane.
Dislikes:
NONE for $189 a Sporty well made EDF that has full controls, with reverse, there is no way to dislike it!

Personaly I would not dare to put an AR620/AR630 in an EDF. Only had problems with them.
Glad you're not having that.
I have had a FEW problems with AR630 but never a ar620.
Nice flight Greg, love the paint scheme, flies a lot like the Arrows RC Marlin.
Yes but it is a better plane than the Marlin in my book. And that is saying something because the Marlin is awesome.
On your rates..... what do you mean 80 percent over 15 percent throws ?? Any expo added in ?
I must have miss spoke, that would have been 80%throws with 15%expo.
YOOOOO. I have been watching your videos for a few weeks now and that's the first time it registered that your from Avon park! I live just south of Daytona Beach. Is Abon by Altamonte and Orlando or farther to the west coast?
It's in central FL about 5 miles north of Sebring.
Does this Banchee have any stabilizer in it ? I just ordered one. Going to try a Hi voltage 4s in it , well along with my other 4s packs too. Looks like a fun step into EDF Jets.
No no stabilizer. It is a good edf for sure, Good quality.
@Fat Guy Flies RC Thanks. I have a spare Spektrum kicking around, I'll use it ( 6 channel) and bind it without the AS3X . Unless if course I can figure out if it will work in this Jet. It came out of my Old Red&White Sport Cub by Hobby Zone.
Would it be possible to take off the banshee from grass? Would it be capable?
Yea as long as the grass is very short.
Banshee or the Rebel? Which is the better flyer and which is best for a beginner? I know you have both so I thought I'd ask.

Do you know how to get the reverse to work?
That little single wire off the esc. plug into an open channel like the gear channel and assign to 2 position switch.
