Hey, new to the game. Does the knife have lingering hitboxes or something? You keep swinging early but then get the hit. And I am assuming you are running the knife for it's faster double kill potential due to it's charge time? I've heard the sledgehammer and the bat are basically the only two choices. The knife is better when you are solo maybe? Also I'm sure I was getting infected at 14:10 where you seem to be unaffected. The fog height seems lower for you, but I thought it was just because of the high FOV. No way FOV can prevent you from getting infected right?
Yes it has lingering hitbox. When it swings, it gives damage. Also knife has faster kill potential for the small ones. Additionally, compare with other hammer, spear, and bat, it affects purse slowly. There is no way fov affects on infection.
