This watch, from design language to complication literally butchers some of the models from RM and Patek, plus I think it’s the one for you :) Good going with the crisp quality and content, as always.
I wouldnt get a PP because their designs do not speak to me (PP and IWC are sort of similar for me but at different price points: I dont really like their designs but I realize that a collection needs to have them; I just cant force myself to spend money on them over other watches which I find more aesthetically appealing). Audemarses are starting to become a vanity brand praised by rappers etc (aside from it being a one-trick pony). ALS, something really complicated from VC or an independent, please :)
I think PF are such an underrated manufacturer. I have a Tonda 1950 that i use as my dress watch. Such elegant simplicity and the finish on that Tondagraphe is exquisite. Great video as always Marko. 👍
LOVE that watch. It’s a beautiful piece of art work that you can wear on your wrist. Great close up shots on the watches you show. Very nice to know some background history on the watch and the watch maker. Once again thank you for a great video.
Interesting watch, fine work but definitely not my cup of tea! But well explained and a great video for someone who wants to learn about the different parts and functions of the watch. Amazing job Marko!
I own two Parmigianis. They are watches that spoil you with horological splendors. Having worked as a world class restoration expert as well as with great modern brands (i.e. Breguet when it was run by Daniel Roth), Michel Parmigiani is a human encyclopedia of horological expression as well as an artist whose medium is watches. I can live quite happily without the better known brands whose horology is not as lyrical as Parmigiani’s. Owning a Parmigiani is the privilege of a small but knowing group of people who place more importance on fine horology than brand recognition.
Great review from a very beautiful watch , tbh i never payed that much attention to the brand but i Will def have a closer look at them in the future . It was a hard guess this this 😉 . Next one is easy 🤗 looking forward to see your new and iconic watch
Parmigiani Fleurier is definitely a brand that deserves more attention, their designs are distinctive & their attention to detail is amazing. Thanks so much for sharing this one & hopefully we can see more of them on the channel soon :) What do you think of the new Tondagraph GT & Tonda GT they released a few weeks ago?
100%. The new tondagraphe could have less text on the dial and the Tonda GT the "parmigiani" name I'd like to see it in the middle and not on the side. My OCD for symmetry kicks in haha
Uhnn really enjoyed this open dial concept, would be nice to have it without those big pushers and the chronograph to make it thinner. But well, not enough cash to buy it anyways lol
This watch is definitely a conversation starter. It's a bit on the expensive side, but I guess a quality piece will always be more. Also that waffle pattern of the dial is something that you just can't not recognise.
@@SwissWatchGang yup, how does it work mechanically? I know how electronic gauges measure the remaining power but I can't imagine how would a physical one work...
Those lugs aren't the only ones that can bent down for you, y'know... I could do some as well for you 🤪 Jokes aside, I prefer the Toric series, especially the minute repeater wandering hour with snake gongs instead of the Tonda series. Idk, I have seen and held the Tonda series before, including the one you reviewed in this video, for me it's just another big watch.
I loved it I thought wow that's going to be an expensive one that might be a whole thousand bucks or something I might have to save up for a few months for that beauty and then I Googled the conversion from Franc to US cash $217,000 us LMFAO👍😁🤪😁🤪
Swiss Watch Gang, Jesus man! 199K is a lot for this watch! You can get a couple of FP Journes for that money and still have leftover for a PP. He doesnt get as much respect as Dufour, Ferrier or Journe. I love some of MBF creations too. To me this watch is not spectacular and it is not groundbreaking like something along the lines of Zeitwerk. So what justifies the price?
It really comes down to what you like, I really like this watch for the re-sale price, not the retail price. The price is broken into marketing, product cost (movement made by APRP) and other expenses we do not see. I love the Zeitwerk and MBF as well!
Would you buy this watch or rather a Audemars Piguet, Richard Mille, Patek Philippe or any other watch of this caliber?
This watch, from design language to complication literally butchers some of the models from RM and Patek, plus I think it’s the one for you :) Good going with the crisp quality and content, as always.

Not my cup of tea! I'd stick with my APs and RMs
Its a beautiful watch indeed , not sure if i would spend that amount of money on this watch tbh . I think i would pick another brand .
What a stunner.
yea, I fell in love after I reviewed it!
Another beautiful watch.
Thanks for inspirational videos.
My pleasure, thank you for watching :)
Incredible work of art.
Beautiful. Love the backstory on Parmigiani and how he is chosen to restore Patek's clock museum pieces.
A great watchmaker! :)
Love PF, underrated. I had a annual caladar of theirs for years.
Awesome!
If the manufacture has enough demand to be able to sell its entry level watches at 20,000 euros, they likely don't suffer much from being underrated

Great video as always Marko. 👍
Awesome and I agree with you :)
I was blown away by what I saw, everything works so well here
Glad you liked it!
Amazing watch 👍👍 great review 👏👏
Glad you like it!
Wow this for sure can be one of the best horology timepiece in this modern day. One hell of a price but is seriously a beauty man!
Agree, surprised me as well👍

Agree, super wearable and unique :) Thank you for watching!
That copper red contrasts beautifully with the rest of the watch.
Agree! I really digg this model😍
What a masterpiece. Thanks Marko.
Thank you! :)
Tourbilion is amazing
Agree, and that chronograph movement with it also :)
Congrats on your RO!
Thank you!
A beautiful watch.
Glad you like it Derek!

Thank you Chiraag!
Underrated brand
I think so too, needs more presence.
When I'll have extra bucks. Gonna have it for sure.

Happy that you didn´t know which one we will review :) haha next one is too easy definitely.
Very nice
Glad you like it!
Heard of the brand, but dont know much about them. Great information and review. That watch is stunning.
Thank you, do some digging, they have a few nice models :)
@@SwissWatchGang hahaha no more digging Marko. I am running out of money. Unless I am digging and find gold

Lots of one word descriptions for this.... Wow. Stunning. Want. Congrats on the RO?
haha nicely said! Uhm...thank you? :D

Thank you bro!
Very nice video as usual and next watch an royal oak jumbo?
Thank you Max! Close, it´s a more casual Royal Oak model.

Agree on all fronts :)
How does the mechanic for the remaining power work?
What do you mean? The power reserve indicator shows the power of the whole watch, if that is what you meant?
@@SwissWatchGang yup, how does it work mechanically? I know how electronic gauges measure the remaining power but I can't imagine how would a physical one work...

Yes :)

The finishing of this movement really surprised me, especially the anglage.
Many of their watches are well made, just their style isn't my favorite.
Surprised in a good or bad way?
@@SwissWatchGang Surely great 🤣
This watch looks like what all the cheap chinese 'open heart' watches are trying to look like with eh bridges on the tourbillon etc
lol

Another new “grail’
😁😁
Nice workmanship but will be out the reach of 99% of people
Unfortunately yes.
