It looks great! I would definitely paint the dresser in the Malecite green. I feel you need another spot of green and having it opposite the feature wall would be perfect.

I think the yellow would look best for the dresser. Like the makeover.
Do a curtain behind the bed also but bring the rod up to the ceiling and extend the rod out on the sides a good bit, maybe the width of the bed.

Exactly what I was going to suggest- asl do the other window the same to visually make the ceiling higher. I would suggest that in the living room too.
Yes I was going to suggest the same thing. I was a custom decorator for JC Penny and that would be beautiful. Do it in a light neutral color. Have your drapes match

For the window behind the bed I would hang a long rod across the wall, make the window appear large, use 2 types of curtains on each side and a sheer in the middle. It will frame out the bed :)

I have to agree here. I would defs go 2 more curtains on same rod so doesn’t look like a flat sheet. Needs more pleating. Sheer curtain in between where windows is would be perfect. Love the rest.👍🌸

What a beautiful transformation Y'all ....and I'd Pick the Wheat color for dresser .. especially being it's a big dresser and if you went Dark I Think it would weigh the Room down too much...and I'd either put privacy window film (Amazon has so many options with films) or I'd Do the Faux Wood slat Blinds as I Think the Wood blinds Would Make the curtains Pop more and also Tie in the stained top of dresser and trim and floor etc ..I'm sure you will pick something beautiful 🥰👍❣️
Curtains behind the headboard - YES. That was the decision that turned the room into perfect.

I would suggest rattan or bamboo window shades for the windows to tie in with the lamps. They have some pretty affordable options on Amazon!
This room gives boho vibes. Very cute! A think a couple green plants would finish it off nicely. Oh, and steaming the curtains. 😉

I'm actually really loving the idea of Wheat. With the style of the dresser it would be just a fun pop of color. I imagine a mirror above with some beautiful decor on top of it.

Yellow /brings out the color in lamps and pillow/ stripe. The green is pretty but you already have a abundance of that color in pictures and rug.

I would definitely put white curtain panels on each side of the windows with rod up to ceiling & extended at least 6 inches beyond window frame. This will give illusion of higher ceiling & wider windows. Also use matching blinds for each window. Walmart has great prices for curtains. A light filtering linen look fabric for curtain would be nice. Good luck!

I think the wheat would add more warmth to the room and accentuate the colors you've already chosen (the lamps and rug). A nice mirror or a large piece of art that incorporates all the colors in the room over the dresser would complete the look.

You would be amazed at what the faux wood blinds will do to up the look in a room. I would do that on both windows. It looks so nice! I think you should use the light purple. It will blend in more and less chances of you getting sick of it too quickly.
I totally agree on the wood blinds . It would also let your room be darker if you wanted for sleeping and would make a nice clean stop where the air conditioner starts. Choosing the right color would tie the trim color and the lamps to the windows so making a it all look cohesive and professionally done. You did not ask but the multi color pillow seems to clash with the colors of the rug on my screen. It’s all coming together nicely
For the window behind the bed; get a curtain rod that extends the entire wall and add curtains so it makes a nice soft wall feature

If I hadn’t seen this video and I walked into this room, I’d have guessed you bought the lumbar pillow first and built the entire room around it. It’s amazing how you found everything to blend so well together. It looks GREAT!!!
The room looks great. Love the rug. I really like the wheat yellow. I feel it keeps the warm vibe going and would complement the greens, oranges and blues you've already got going on. The malachite is lovely but too many different greens could look a bit overwhelming unless it actually matches a colour in the rug.
I don’t know about sophisticated but it is warm,folksy and homey. Just the place to rest and relax.

The bedroom looks nice and cozy, you should use tieback for the curtains but keep them together on the top so you don't see the curtain rod. Also, the dresser would look nice in the wheat color it will blend in with the style of your decor and maybe add some plants.
Your bedroom looks so good ..its always fun picking out new stuff.....love the pillow's on your bed and it matching the colors in your rug.
I choose the color Malachite. Since this color doesn't match the color on the wall behind your bed, it does match your art work. Since you stated you are staining the top, I suggest straining the drawer fronts and highlighting with this color on the frame.. It will bring out the colors in your pictures since the two greens don't exactly match and I'm thinking they will be fighting with each other if you paint the whole dresser this color.
I would also suggest a third window panel behind your bed to make more of a ruffled look to your curtains instead of so straight behind your bed....it doesn't look natural...just a thought.
For the window behind the bed - I would suggest using some of that window vinyl from Home Depot or similar hardware store. Easy to apply with water and squeegee. They have frosted, light designs, funky colors or stained glass options. I've covered our back glass door and 2 side windows for privacy, which also allows in light. :)
I vote for the Wheat paint. The malachite looks like it does not go with the other greens in the room. Everything looks great!
For behind the bed, I would use a wooden closet rod (to save money) and hang blackout curtains, centered, the full width of the bed.
The room came together beautifully!! The lamps were a great choice and the rug, bedding, and curtains all look great! I vote for Wisteria or Wheat. (I also want to second what someone else below said - find a vinyl cling for the top half of the A/C window. We have them in our two front doors and they are great.)
I'm with Judy Hinkle. The wheat is the perfect balance. The green or wisteria mist could go on a row of drawers. IMHO green is otherwise well represented already. The wisteria is a bit muted compared to other details but could bring out colors on your rug and pillows.

When I was your age, I had all these pillows on my bed. I got so tired of having to take them off when I was ready for bed and then picking them all up off the floor when I made the bed in the morning. That ended that little deal, because no one really sees my bedroom but my sister and those cushions were a pain. Good luck With all this. It is really fun to decorate, just costly. Your bedroom looks nice and I love the curtains behind the bed. I just wish I could see more of the rug. I would like to see it just halfway under the bed, It is so pretty and should be shown. I like all the paint, but think maybe mixing the yellow and green would be nice to lighten and maybe trim with the light color.

I also have a window behind my bed and it looks so awesome with a sheer curtain that has a blue floral design on it. It absolutely looks high end and I get compliments all the time. The other curtains in my room are a linen white color so the focal point is the window over the bed.
You can use those ring clips makes opening the curtains easier I found some on Amazon pretty cheap...I like the wheat color, watching you decorate makes me Happy 😁

i really like these ones and it helped they were on sale! I think the look really good in the room too which is a plus! i'm not sure the white ones I liked would've looked as good as the rattan!
Swing arm lamps that hang on the wall will save table space. And look great too.

I have used laundry detergent and bleach on my down comforters several times over the years. It helps a lot with smell sand stains of any sort!
Bleach is awful for down (and for most textiles as well as the environment) as it strips the down of its natural oils, which leads to losing loft and therefore warmth. You should only use ultra gentle detergents on down. As for other bedding, you’re much better off using an oxygen “bleach” (or sodium percarbonate, which is the activate ingredient in oxiclean) to remove stains/oils/odors

All 3 colors are very nice. All 3 will compliment but each has a different vibe. Only the 2 of you can decide. When your sitting in YOUR bed, looking at YOUR dresser you will know exactly which one you are feeling. You are so good with furniture colors you will see it. Well done !!
