Lol I'm glad someone noticed my bloopers! I like to put little things in some of my reviews like that. I had MANY outtakes with this review, I think I filmed 45 minutes worth of content, and only ended up using 26, I don't always do that much editing, but when it's something REALLY detailed like a backpack, I miss things and have to go back, or I ramble to much, ect. Thank you, brother!
I do like compressing my bags too, like my Hazard 4 Evac, but I like the presentation of the bag, how it doesn't deform (I'm OCD so that's just my opinion lol) Or you could take a cheap plastic storage bin and cut a piece off of that. Thank you for the comment!
I really like the idea of using a piece of a cheap storage (never thought of that). I use scraps of plastic all the time so I'd even use the leftovers. Thanks again :)
That's plenty of time to evaluate a product, especially since I've been carrying it that long. Plus, I only had about a month before I have to send this back. I will be doing the Switchback next, I just knew I had time constraints with this pack.
Got my hazard 4 rocket 17 in last week... in process of transferring edc items over. Already have some mods in mind for it will hopefully keep you in the loop.
Yeah, this pack has much better organization for smaller items than the Sitka line. I do not have any hands on experience with their packs, but their pouches are pretty well made. I don't have a code for Vanquest at the moment :)
OMG I love this company. they have put the thought and smarts into their packs that maxpedition seems to overlook. I want them to make a Falcon II variant Soooooo bad. I would buy that pack so fast, and I would love it forever. thanks for the in depth review.
EDC loadout? Also (just my opinion) I still prefer the Sitka: 1. I really like having a water bottle holder. 2. I do like the hard sheet for the back of this bag, but I actually don't like that it holds it's boxy shape. I prefer to be able to compact my bag to the smallest profile possible. To replicate the stiff backing, I'm going to put a piece of cardboard or something in the hydration pocket. 3. I'm not crazy about the "camera bag" style. Just thought I'd share, maybe throw some ideas
Great review! How does this bag compare to your Hazard 4? I was really digging the H4 but end up getting the same bag. I borrowed a Kodiak the other day since my friend haven't been using it for more than a year. As much as I like that side water pocket, the bag sags and throws off my balance strangely. I am glad my Javelin's strap is a lot more comfortable. :D
Looks like a nice bag. Been looking at getting the maxpedition kodiak for a while, but organization seems better with this pack. Have you tried any condor packs? They look good for the price, but wasnt sure. Are there any coupon codes for vanquest packs?

Thank you very much :) They really did, I've owned and reviewed a lot of gear, and this pack has a lot of neat features.

Haha I have many more to come, trust me :)
Looks like a great pack.
Good review and what size can a laptop fits?
Really nice pack but still cant decide between this or the Vanquest Javelin VSlinger, any thoughts? Great channel btw :)
I like the interior, I just wish there wasnt so much molle webbing on the outside. I dont need all that mess.
I think vanquest to be honest is just a maxpedition copycat, their gear is extremely similar and not as innovative as hazard 4
