For anyone interested in actually trying this, don't listen to this suggestion. When you put blast coating on your weapon, it doesn't do any elemental damage, and you lose a huge chunk of your damage. Either use the bow as it is or use a high raw bow with the blast coating, never this combination.

Hey chilled tiger, I have managed to sever the tails of a few monsters using the melee attack of the bow in mhrise. I have a motto for my strat. I call it “that tail is M I N E”
Nah Bow is super difficult to learn and its extremely deco reliant. If you don't have good decos, your damage is shit. Since Mighty bow can be melded it shouldn't be too bad tho. If you wanna learn how to get good at bow, I'd recommend looking at some bow speedrunners. This guy only used dash dancing, which is honestly pretty bad but its what most players do, but there are a fuck ton of bow combos to learn to maximize stamina efficiency. Its probs the most technical weapon in the game so don't feel bad if you're not good with it yet, I suck dick with it too.

I recommend using glider mantle (use whatever decos u want on the mantle) clutch claw onto a monster - immediately drop off and you'll be put Into glide, glide forward near the monster until you're close enough to do the air melee which is triangle on ps, y on xbox and I don't know what on pc. Repeat this clucth and drop processes till u get a mount.

@@JumalaPlays yes. especially if there is a sticky user in the team. if it hits the monster before the sleeping animation sticky will wake him up. also also, randoms doesn't care about the animation. but when i spam the sticker it actually works 99% of the time.

U need to tenderize to do dmg and even then elemental dmg can carry cuz even on an ass elemental hitzone you will still do at least +13 dmg to whatever raw dmg Ur doing WITHOUT crit elemental
