That's pretty much what it's like every single day with a Pom, I hope your videos help people thinking about getting one because it is soooooo much work (every day, not just sometimes) but they are sooooo adorable, they love to train and are so loyal and obedient when properly trained but omg it is a commitment! :)

That it is. After our oldest passed last aug (almost 16) losing 2 Poms in 2 years was enough and said no more. that didn’t last and in June picked up our new Pom pup who is quite the handful and think born smarter than hoomans. 🤣
but they bring soo much love and joy if trained right and they are affectionate and loving pets.

Yess Cece's potty trained both indoor and outdoor hehe ❤️ It makes it a lot easier as their bladders are so small and they need to pee a lot more frequent than bigger dogs :P

AWWWW you're always making my Thursday's better!! Cece is an adorable ball of sunshine (She really do be looking like a lion now with that nice-looking mane lololo). There's an overload of cuteness in this video and she gets fluffier each and every time I watch your videos. I was also in awe when I saw her in the laundry basket and it reminded me when I had a pup (placed him in a bin instead hehe). I've always thought of what Cece's day in a life would be like and since I saw this upload, I'm very happy. Love it lots ❤️❤️

Reading your comment always brightens up our day 💕❤️ Yes she does definitely look more like a lion nowadays 🦁 At the start of our TH-cam channel, Cece had some skin allergies so we had to shave her so there was little to no fur at all 😅 Luckily, her skin has healed perfectly and she’s back to a lion nowadays hehe ❤️

Whenever you are down, think of all the love and joy your pom felt, living each day without thinking about tomorrow. Even that last day, while it broke you, to your floofer it was a comfort and joy to see, hear and smell her favorite human. May time heal your heart, and maybe find a place for a new floofer. Not to replace the other, but to heal your heart further with kisses and tiny borks

my 1st Pomeranian was a cream/red, 2nd red sable and my last PoM was a Merle mix of all colors with freckles. She had brown nose & eyes. When I got her I wasn't certain that she was not a mix so I did a DNA on her and the test came back as Pomeranian (technical name: German Spitz). SHE was the funnest of the 3, not rowdy but just most adorable & protective personality. OMG she didnt like leaving my side.
My first 2 were protective but just chill, sometimes quiet.
I adored all of them equally.

I ❤❤ have a POM (retired ex AKC Registered Show Dog). He was 5yrs old when I adopted him - he weighs 2.3kg & is a bundle of love….wonderful funny gentle little friend. If he rolled over he couldn’t get up because his massive thick double Coat made him the shape of a Ball. I spoke with Groomer & asked to get rid of his horrible thick Coat - he still has a fluffy face & a PomPom on the end of his tail. When I brought him home from Groomer he zoomed around & still does. He loves to run much more - now that his massive Fur Cost has been removed. He is definitely a happier little Dog & more relaxed. He doesn’t have to endure the awful drawn out grooming - no matter how careful. the human is it can be a very unpleasant exercise. Seeing the change in my tiny Pom, I feel so sorry for Poms that are burden with a massive thick Fur Coat !!!! When I take him out people come over to me & ask can they hold him…men adore him / people have even kissed him on his head whilst holding him. He brings constant smiles to peoples face & lots of comment that he is so cute & beautiful. Plus he is very intelligent & has fitted into our Family perfectly. They have a fabulous personality …he loves sitting in my handbag as we walk around shopping malls. Every time he sees my handbag he jumps in it… he has never displayed any aggression but….he loves Food & Kisses & playing gentle chasings.

Omg I fell in love with them when my son and his girlfriend bought one he is same color as the carmel one. His name is Bennie and I always sing Bennie and the jets to him. Watching your adorable poms brings me so much joy because I don’t get to see Bennie much. I hope to get one one day when I can afford one. I’m alone and would love one. I could watch all day smiling and laughing. I’m jealous lol

aww thank you so much! ❤️ We bathe her about once every 2 weeks, depending on how dirty she gets. She has a long and thick double-coat, which collects and traps dirts on the street pretty easily so if we go longer than that she can smell pretty bad lol 😂

I am now certain that you belong to the nobels and the Royals in the Victorian dynasty . Cece is the princess of that era. You must be some queen as the royalty often had Pomeranian dogs and that's why they gained popularity in the world that we live in today.

What dog harness do you use? My guy is not a fan on sleeping on his back . It's difficult to brush the underarm hair no one seems to talk about. It gets matted. So hard to brush out. I should see if I have the right tools. Seems different pom owners use different brushes. I'm still trying to figure out a couple years now which ones I should use for Hudson. Sigh!
Yesss the underarm is quite often neglected by Pom owners since not all the Poms can sleep on their back like Cece and it's not quite hat easy to brush the underarm without doing so. I have a video on "how to groom a Pomeranian" if you haven't seen it yet which I talked about different brushes I use to detangle my pomeranians. I often have to use the combination of 3 brushes for the best result lol!

Do you have suggestion on what harness to use so as to avoid underarm matts?
Or should I keep Hudson short hair or grow it long?
Unfortunately different harnesses won’t make much difference I believe. If it gets too matted and impossible to remove, sometimes the only way to deal with it is … cutting the mats 😅 I know it’s not ideal but it’s better than keeping the mats, and then we will try to increase the brushing frequency so mats won’t happen again. I hope this helps! ❤️

Where did you get your pom? I have been looking but it seems many of the NYC pet stores are not reliable and often times, have sick pups.
Yep definitely don’t get one from those NYC pet stores. If you can, I’d highly recommend you to broaden the search and go to AKC website to look for legitimate and responsible Pom breeders. Some of them are in PA and VA if I’m not mistaken! I hope this helps! ❤️

Thank you so much! Where do you live now? We bought them from Thailand but knowing what we know now we probably wouldn't recommend buying Poms from another country. We plan to do a post on Instagram to let people know how to find the right breeder and where to stay away from soon!

And of course, Cece seems to get along very well with a hair dryer and a bath, which is the exact opposite of Sushi.
But please tell me, how often do you take her to the bathroom? Because I have heard that they have to take a bath once a month, which I think is a very long time.
Aww Sushi - what a cute name!! 💕 Oh I tend to give Cece a bath once every 1-2 weeks depending on how dirty and smelly she is 😂 I know a lot of information on the Internet tends to suggest once a month but I asked my vet, and he said my frequency of bathing Cece is perfectly fine! Also Cece does tend to smell pretty bad if we don't bathe her after 2 weeks lol. So far her skin is looking good, no dry spots or anything at all, I think using a gentle and hydrating shampoo also helps! 😛
How does Sushi react every time you give him/her a bath? 😝
@@CeceFamily He does not make any noise in the bathroom, but constantly escapes from the water. But so far so good 😊
Hard work is when I want to dry him with a hair dryer 😩
He is scared of the sound of the hair dryer and does not stay together at all, and when I hug him, he starts struggling to escape. Then he runs very fast and rubs his head and face on the carpet to dry himself 😖
This is really the hardest part of the job.
My wish is that sushi, like Cece, would be so calm and dignified that I would dry it.
Of course, maybe because of his age. Because Sushi is now 5 months old.

Or perhaps you can try those silicon lick mat and spread something delicious over it, Sushi will be distracted trying to eat all the goodies, buying you some time to dry him peacefully 😛

Hi! Yes it's definitely not easy to come by a responsible breeder here. Unfortunately we got our Pomeranian from a different country so we couldn't point you to an exact breeder here. However, I wrote an article a while ago about how to find a good breeer: www.cecefamily.com/how-to-find-a-good-breeder/ This should help to point you to the right direction. From what I've seen in the AKC Marketplace, I could see that if you're willing to travel a bit when searching for a Pom (for example, Pennsylvania), then there would be some seemingly responsible breeders there. When in doubt, I'd definitely travel for the right breeder! I hope this helps! ❤️

Does she bark? My Pomeranian is quiet at home but barks a lot when hears sounds from the hall, deliveries. Outside he barks for some dogs and some people. How do I fix that? He is 9mo thanks
Actually poms are territorial dogs they bark at everything that seems sus to them... Ur pom dosent bark at home that it self is a big achievement.

Hello I have a question does cece sometimes pee on the floor cuz I wanna get a Pomeranian but I’m wondering if after you train them do they still pee on the floor sometimes
Hi! It depends on whether you train them to go potty outside or go potty in the potty pad. If dogs are potty pad trained, they can sometimes mistakenly pee on other similar surfaces in the house such as rugs. Cece goes potty in the right spot most of the time but sometimes she does pee on the floor if she's left alone in the house because of her separation anxiety (I got Cece rather late around 6 months old and she was already super anxious when left alone when we first got her). It only happens once in a while though. So I'd say if you get a 2-month old puppy and work on potty train and separation anxiety training right away, it wouldn't be something you have to worry about.
