If he cant even hit a ball in his first shot, he is actually kind of sub par, nothing wrong with that. I would love to have a place to play with a table like that. I go to local bars as often as I can and go to a local tournament every week or so.
You can't forget Ronnie's amazing pot on the brown to cannon the two reds against the back cushion in the 2012 world championship. Still one of the craziest cannons I've ever seen
@@tomdavies9885 i can't find it too. I tried many times. I think it was Higgins vs Trump. Not So old, max few years ago. If you find it send link. If you know about some other snooker jump shots send link as well
Great video! I remember the Williams shot it's much more memorable than any other.. he is a very creative snooker player. Also a bit Murphys too.. Greetings from Greece, Larissa :)
Can you please try and recreate the black into the middle pocket at PACE, then followed by the long red, that Ronnie did during the 2016 Masters? Honestly that shot to this day to me is probably the most ridiculous and best shot I've seen, to play it at that pace and get it into the tight middle pocket seems nigh on impossible, also then followed by the clearance... simply unbelievable
2016 Masters/Welsh open ronnie was completely ridiculous. Untouchable. It's between that and his 2012 WC campaign for the best stretch of form ever seen
The shot on the brown to cannon out the reds in Ronnie’s 92 break during the WSC final of 2012 is still my favourite shot I’ve ever seen, although it’s probably technically not as difficult as some of the shots seen in this video.
That shot from Judd Trump was amazing. I still dont believe that he didn´t manage to get the 147... Great video as always. Greetings from Madeira, Portugal
Love your videos. I am in a place that does not have ready access to snooker tables and really miss getting down to a club to thrash around a table. Great work!
I agree with the BBC poll shot of the decade ... the way all the balls line up nice and clean right down the middle perfectly ... it just feels like the pure essence of what snooker is.
Greetings from exotic Reading, UK. Definitely agree on Mark Williams' shot as the best of a spectacular bunch - the man is a wizard, pure and simple. I do very much like Gary Wilson's though, and I think it does deserve the recognition its received!
A big big hello from Jinan, China!! Didn’t see many pins there since TH-cam is banned in China. But real fans can always find ways to support the sport they all love! Keep up with the good work man. Your channel is AWESOME. So is your game!!
Greetings from San Sebastian, Spain! This video gave me a new appreciation for just how good these guys are, well done for getting as close to these as you did!
This was awesome. 2019 Snooker was the best one... Playing a great defensive shot in that kind of pressure is always amazing to see. Orlando, Florida here..

Thumbs up, keep um coming!!!!! If you or anybody else visits Amsterdam.. come down to play in my local club The FINAL TOUCH!! Greetings from Pieter, Amsterdam, The Nehterlands
Brilliant channel mate...not only are you a very good player, but the way you describe, 're create and execute the shots is extremely well done...not to mention the in depth knowledge and analysis of every situation....excellent form Cape Town, South Africa .
Ronnie O'Sullivan does a similar shot as Stephen Hendry did when he was playing against Jimmy White when he angled Jimmy with the middle pocket. Awesome shot "you need a sublime touch to do that " Clive Everton said.
Matthew Stevens had an unbelievable shot in 2012 in his semi vs Ronnie. It was so good Dennis Taylor ( I think) said in the commentary box to the other person he'll buy him a pint I think if he got, he also had to pause during this shot as there was loud noise, which makes it even more impressive. Also Ronnie had some good shots in the quarter final match vs Bingham probably best match I've ever seen anyone play in 2013
3:26 - Obviously not trying to suggest the shot was in any way easy but just wondering if on the professional tables those cushions protrude a little more, making the pockets tighter but also offering a couple of millimetres extra cover for this sort of shot. Could it be even more difficult (however slightly) for you on your table?
Hello, here is Alexandre from Guarulhos, SP, Brazil. I think you should try the 2019 shot from Gary Wilson. It may not be harder, but it looks more amazing.
Always love these recreations of spectacular shots. It demonstrates just how good a shot they actually played when it takes you multiple attempts fiddling with side, pace etc. Ta Rob Shoalhaven Heads NSW Australia
I play with Mark Lloyd at my club and on his table he recreates Juud style shots with big banana cueballs. He manages to do it all the time, and I have tried them on the table next to him. I play on his table, but wouldn't dare trying to ridiculous shots in case I damaged the table and ended up with a big bill! As an amazing player who plays in pro tournaments, he gets the attempts 10 out of 10, and I get at best, 2 out of 10! He does exhibition shots where the cueball is arching like an arching thingy and it blows my mind to see it up close and not on the tele. I pick balls for him and just stand there in awe when he does back to back 140s! How these top guys do these shots in big matches is beyond me!
The last shot by Judd Trump is absolutely crazy. I think that its the best shot of the decade because of several factors. It came in a final, in a 147 attempt, and if you have the original video, you can hear the commentator say, "there is only one player who can pot this red in the corner, cannon of the red on the cushion and get the white ball back up in position for the black, and he is at the table right now", and that is exactly what Judd did. To me, it ranks up there with Ronnie's "how much is the price for a 147" moment after potting two reds
Did you consider that the pro tables might be a lot faster than yours which would make some of the shots a bit easier especially ones that need a long backspin.
That shot of Mark Williams is up there too where the white was near the left top pocket a red was over the middle that he couldn't see so he played a red all the way up the table of the cush in the balk area that came back up the table and ever so slowly knocked the red at the middle pocket into the hole ...... a truly awesome shot, how can you give yourself a score equal to the original players shot when you get 4,5,6,7,or even 8 shots to recreate it the players only get one shot, so so should you !!
my hats off to you mate ..trying to recreate these shots on your table would be way more difficult than the conditions they played under....the bed and cushions are super slick on the circuit
Thanks from Crewe, England. I think the final shot you tried to play from judd is probably the best, to judge the canon that perfectly is insane (or lucky lol)
10.50. I play English pool to descent inter-league standard. I don't play much snooker, but me and my mate re-created Sean Murphy's shot, on a snooker table, and we both got it on the 2nd attempt! And then 2 more times out of 6 goes. I reckon it's just a nice-looking trick shot. Still a good shot to see and then play under those circumstances.
I can’t really play a lot of snooker because I’m not at my university, Virginia Teach, but my brother and I here in Berryville Virginia love watching your videos!
Good shout on the Judd Trump shot, what I think differs is that Gary played that exact shot. Judd needed a massive amount of luck to finish where he did to even have some sort of pot on the black. Would of liked if you got your shot recreation on the right side of the table, You got more than 7 attempts in you surely. Keep up the good work!
In 2014 I loved a shot from ROS against Hawkins in the semis when he potted a blue and came of 5 cushions to land on a red. PS. Greetings from Poznań, Poland!
The shot Murphy played was just creative and bold! It wasn't that hard, and many people would probably seen that coming, including me when the commentator was saying about the red over the pocket... But to pot in from that position was just incredible... Judd's shot was pretty much just potting the red and getting the cueball to strike the right side of the red, doesn't necessarily have to hit the red though, so he could probably play it with stun right hand side or simply screw shot...
Great content man. Thank you for being inspirational to keep playing during a challenging time. Canadian currently residing in Adelaide, South Australia.
There’s something you can’t factor in and that’s the real match adrenaline and confidence, some magic karma that just makes the shot happen with the competitive vision and willpower of the player. p.s. can’t disagree with Williams he played so many sick shots that year, fully deserved
6:05 - when recreating left handed shots, why not set up as a mirror image of the shot and flip the image in OBS, so it looks like you're playing the shot left handed
The one where mark williams plays a shot with his eyes closed. Would love to see you do that. Best shot I’ve ever seen was a gentle screw snooker Mark Williams did up on the baulk line about 10 years ago. I’ve never managed to find it though. I even emailed Mark Williams to see if he had it, but no luck
Really good video - well done. Also remember they're on championship quality tables, so the work youve put in to recreate some of the ball travel is really impressive.
Great video again! I've been also watching your videos from Joensuu, Finland (My name is Osku). You also inspired me to buy a small snooker table in my garage, thank you for that!
This puts into perspective just how good the pros are
exactly..when you're aiming on opposite side of object ball..for a pot..shows how fine the line is!
and how bad i am
If he cant even hit a ball in his first shot, he is actually kind of sub par, nothing wrong with that.
I would love to have a place to play with a table like that. I go to local bars as often as I can and go to a local tournament every week or so.
To think they were playing them like that first time, amazing. I love snooker but I can't even hit a ball straight 😂
Like any pro, you think your good, then you see the pros, completely different, excuse the pun, ball game
You can't forget Ronnie's amazing pot on the brown to cannon the two reds against the back cushion in the 2012 world championship. Still one of the craziest cannons I've ever seen
Mark Williams shot was the best of the decade
Mark Williams has the most intelligent snooker brain ever. My fave player for his style and character, too
@@ElJaf17 he is just such a lad
Steve Davis double on the brown and then moving the blue against John Higgins in 2010 was brilliance.
that was his last win at the crucible
That music is cuts in a bit suddenly sometimes. Anyway this perfectly demonstrates why they are the best in the world.
I agree with you about the Mark Williams shot, everyone remembers it, also what about John Higgins double for the maximum attempt?
Yeah I said about that shot in the video last year. I think if one of them had made the maximum we would have talked about the shots more
What about John Higgins jump shot. That was the only jump shot i have seen in snooker.

Great video! I remember the Williams shot it's much more memorable than any other.. he is a very creative snooker player. Also a bit Murphys too..

3:00 Along the cushion puts right spin on the red so it briefly clings to the cushion. That's why he has to hit it so hard. :)
Thanks, really enjoyed these.
Just a note: it’s always a plus to know The score and if the game was already won or not.
You should try Jimmy White’s supernatural pink topspin shot
Personally my favourite, then that black 😍
Can you please try and recreate the black into the middle pocket at PACE, then followed by the long red, that Ronnie did during the 2016 Masters?

I was lucky enough to watch that live at Alexandra Palace. I vividly remember the face on Bingham! Haha, agreed wonderful shot.
