@@frvicboi so tamu has the main campus in college station Tx and satellite campuses in other Texas cities and cap means u can go to one of the satellite campuses and after first year u can transfer to main campus. However u are not always guaranteed your major. And I got cap for a different major since my major was not offered at any of the satellite campuses.
Howdy! Incoming freshman here! Can’t wait to get to A&M in a few weeks! I’ll be living off campus with my dog and working a lot but still plan to get involved and keep my grades up! You’re awesome, love the channel!
girl thank you soo much for this, its so helpful! :) im gonna be a new transfer as a sophomore and hoping to make new friends in the new place! any recommendations on places to live, eat, etc? you seem so sweet, would love to be friends! thank you!
Most sophomores live off campus, but if you can, i’d recommend living on campus your first year, it’s super convenient. The commons dorms on south side are really nice - if you can, avoid Dunn though. Any modular dorms are really good quality. Off campus though has great options too, there’s lots of apartments on University Dr (but they’re pretty expensive) or there’s places like the barracks or woodlands apartments which are nice & near campus too. I would definitely recommend getting several roommates to help make the price cheaper too :)) A great place to eat is Fuego (it’s a taco place) or there’s lots of restaurants in central square (those are more pricey), but there’s plenty of places on campus to eat too! Hope this helps :))
I’m in my 2nd semester of junior year in online homeschool. I was wondering when is the best time to apply for A&M and Scholarships? Also this video was really helpful. Thank You.
i would apply for scholarships as soon as you apply for A&M! I would also recommend applying for housing ASAP!!!! Apply for housing as soon as you apply for A&M. Priority housing choice is for those who apply earliest.
@@melodydawnmiller thank you for this I’m probably going to start college applications in summer so i can make early deadline so I’ll be sure to do this as well.
Hi, Thanks for putting this video together. I applied to the Masters of Fine Art ls in Visualization and this is my first time schooling out side my home country Nigeria even though I’m a Canadian now. I’m looking forward to an acceptance letter any minute now 🙏 and trying to prepare my mind and get a community to join to get informed & be prepared. Could you connect me to any contacts that can help
