PIR = Priority Intelligence Requirement. As far as your statement on the destruction of the enemy without lethal effect, the 101st Air Assault Division notably seized objective Cobra in a Division Air Assault during the Gulf war. In the opening engagement, the 101st utilized fire power in conjuction with psychological operations to force roughly 300 Iraqi troops to surrender. In this case, the Iraqi unit was "destroyed" without lethal effect, which is why they specified in this production. In the case of the "lethal" effect of the light vehicles you mentioned, the 101st is trialing Hunter-Killer Platoons, which utilized unmanned reconnaissance and attack drone swarms to devastating effect. For reference, you can look up the numerous FPV drones videos of Ukraine Air Assault units neutralizing russian Assaults via drones and mobility. It should obviously be known that these vehicles have limited survivability, as you've pointed out. This video lacks context and is obviously a recruiting video. It is posted by the US Army after all. If it wasn't a recruiting video, I would question their intelligence, haha. Great videos, man. Keep it up.
