I liken these sorts of extreme feelings to a black snarling dog, with vicious teeth. The more you run away from them the faster they pursue you. The feeling is so uncomfortable (the dog so vicious), you have to keep running to stay out of its jaws. The answer is to stop running, and let it catch you. Then you find it doesn't devour you. It transforms you.

Learn to accept loneliness and it will flower beautifully, and once it does, it [loneliness] will wither away.

I have tasted the flower of lonelyness it's very addictive, later I could not talk to anyone I just wanted to be alone silent and painting & doing my own things what he saying is 100% true, every time i try to socialize i was finding it difficult coz I was found very much peace while I was lonely

I don't remember his exact words but he has said to not be regarded as a teacher. He didn't want to be followed. When you begin to follow someone you're already running away. I don't know how to explain. Watch his other videos.
We always try to avoid loneliness by amusement or by thinking. We should face loneliness, live so completely with loneliness.
He's so grumpy and lovely...thanks once again. To learn to remain in loneliness is a path for mastering oneself.
It is quite different to hear his voice and to watch his face and movements, than to simply read his books. Ah! The pressence of the master is like a wildfire,puting those Who listen and stay into the fire itself and be left there to burn from inside.
Blessed are they, who listened to him in person . It may be like listening to the discourse of BUDDHA as felt by ALDOUS HUXLEY.

Move from loneliness to aloneness. It WILL be painful initially, but once you've moved pass the pain, you will want to be in it. Aloneness after all is your nature.

What an incredible sage, so much wisdom in just two minutes. This is so true, speaking from experience. Just like many other things like fear and loss, we have to remain in them completely, not run away but take it as it comes and it will pass.

There is so much escapism in the world that constantly keeps us from facing what is, hence these problems are never solved and remain seething under the surface our entire lives unless we learn to stop avoiding these age-old problems, and remain with them, as JK says, without seeking some sort of escapist entertainment to cover up issues such as loneliness.
For me it's like being in a eternal forest away from the civilisation, lying down in the grass, listening to the great silence.

As long as the 'me' exists there is loneliness, whether personal or collective. Aloneness is moving away from 'what is' and therefore has no value. To attend to all this is to gather energy that is being dissipated in different ways. One must give one's life to this, not a few days or weeks. Then only perhaps there is a possibility of a fundamental mutation that K talks about.

Well intelluctually it is ok to ask this question, the moment one does this there are so many claimants, each one with his own marketing strategy outwitting others! This only adds to confusion and dissipation. May be the real question is are we aware of ourselves without choice and motive ? Merely follows the words of another will only lead to superficiality, not to intelligence.

So true. One needs to understand the balance. Polarity. Rhythm. Hate and love are of the same thing so they are the same thing. You can't have 1 without the other. Knowledge.

I believe it's the same with Fear?
If i want to live complete with happiness, my happiness goes away, but if I want to live complete with my lonliness, I get lonlier and lonlier, even depressed and anxious. Why is that? It seems like a never ending story. What do you think about it? I really want to understand it, but I have the feeling that there is nothing to understand
There are a dozen escape these days, nearest one is your phone with internet. Escape at your fingertips, makes it all the more difficult than it already was to remain with loneliness, sorrow and so on.
@Clank Zan You cannot live complete with your loneliness. You were conceived because of a relationship, you were born through a relationship with your mother, you were raised through a relationship, and you become a husband/wife, a citizen, a neighbour, a parent, a friend through relationships. Duality is a universal law that punishes the offender. Beware of the people who claim that they have conquered it.

When I'm feeling lonely, my introverted self emerges and I feel at home, where every voice in my head is concerned and cares about me.
The moment I start to question it, compare it or even challenge it, I'm failing to see the beauty I'm given to even experience such pleasure from something so painful in the first place. It's like a rainy day, if you choose to hate it, the possibilities of beauty to come by will go unnoticed.

I believe K meant that like all pleasures and pains in life, they flower into intensity and being like a flower at its peak but also pass and wither away at their natural time like a flower similarly. Blessings to you brother.
Loneliness withers away, if you let it bloom like a flower and learn to accept it, only then will it wither away.
