I heard the other day “Desire is doing what you want. Will is doing what you don’t want.”
Why haven't I changed? I needed that question.
Most people do not want to accept that they are conditioned and that conditioning has limited them quite profoundly. Even though that limitation leads to conflict and suffering, I will go on with what I know because I am afraid of the unknown, I prefer to live with fear, with the idea of me, because I was taught that the me, the self is what I am. And I am scared to lose that. And I am responsible just for myself, and leave others to thier conflict.
For you that have changed, your very presence has an effect on human consciousness.
I feel this. And know you do to.

Most of us fear making any significant changes to ourselves - fear that the relationships we have thus far forged based upon "the old me" will dissolve, leaving us alone and isolated. Thus, our need to be and remain accepted/feel a sense of belonging is more powerful than the prospects of such an alternative (albeit less insufferable) reality.

This is the most powerful talk I have ever watched of his. Really hope most of us really see the depth and simplicity of this. I ask myself daily. If it I don't drop the delusional egoic outlook in life, then I distract myself by daily -mostly man made - problems.
The egoic mind constantly produces a 'will', is constantly busy with decision making and considers everything a problem (to gain pleasure and avoid pain, worst of all the invented psychological 'wellbeing' of the self).
Why haven’t we changed…
Because people simply don't know how or what to do.
I wonder if it's possible
Trust the universe to change you as according to the will of God and the PERFECT plan. Be PATIENT and kind to yourself. We are designed by the MASTER of the UNIVERSE.

After 7 years of listening to Krishnamurti will I finally change?
When you understand then you will stop listening to him anymore. But it's demanding tremendous Love in heart.

But k don't answer if we don't live with will then what humans should do. But I agree that we must get rid of desire but some desire is necessary in life for an individual living. But spiritually we don't need desire but how things happen to be an enlightened and psychological revolution. Because one has to face the society and so many things which one doesn't understand or know.

call me dumb, but if desire is the mechanism by which things happen
what do we get if we stop desire? ... we get no action, no?
we get stillness ... death by definition of all living things ... no-growth, no-life
