This channel is managed by the Krishnamurti Foundation Trust, UK, and by the Krishnamurti Foundation of America.
The role of the foundations was described by Krishnamurti when he said, 'The foundations will see to it that these teachings are kept whole, are not distorted, are not made corrupt. They will not give rise to any sectarian spirit in their activities... nor create any kind of place of worship around the teachings or the person.'
We maintain extensive archives of Krishnamurti's original works and all four Krishnamurti foundations are actively engaged in the publication of material in various forms.
Our videos contain thousands of subtitles in more than 25 languages, translated by volunteers from all over the world. If you would like to help us with translating subtitles, please contact us at digital@kfoundation.org

Loneliness is in need of company. Alone is being at ease with oneself.

Loneliness: "The other has something that I need from him (love, attention, security...)"
Solitude: "There is no other, there is no I. It's all one."

Isolating yourself, struggling and trying to exist in the society while reacting and fighting with the surrounding environment is loneliness.
Going into nature and forgetting the lonely life of the society temporarily is aloneness.
Coming back into the chaotic world and having neither is xxxxxxx.

One of the insights in this video that stood out to me the most is K's observation that true aloneness only comes when _everything_ is "down the river" - when one is completely deconditioned, one becomes, in the truest sense of the word, alone. All one. Where there is no division.
It is a tremendous connection, and it speaks volumes. That the end goal is to keep removing and keep leaving behind everything that is not our true identity, until we are so alone - with no beliefs, no convictions, no religion, no society, nothing whatsoever with us - that we realize what it is to be all one, and in so doing discover how there is no division for aloneness to even exist.

In solitude there is joy. Loneliness is not real but the consequence of self centered thoughts

Loneliness is a component of ego. Diminish the ego, and loneliness will become solitude. 🙂

Listening to this segment throws the listener into a deep quandary about the way the use of common words and their correct meanings connects with the thinking processes more than a cursory glance might reveal. This confusion is due to the fact that the ordinary verbal exchanges are often giving off misleading information about relationships between people, particularly the unseen protection of the self in its interactions with others whether close or afar. It takes someone wise like Krishnamurti to bring attention to the psychological aspects of language, otherwise I and surely others would have just carried on generally ignorant of the facts about the influence of words on our awareness of how and why we act as we do inwardly and therefore outwardly towards others and indeed the world environment of which we are contributing to in some ways.
To watch closely the verbal expressions we speak and hear is obviously very important because we are conditioned to the overuse of positive psychology which often gives false impressions of our attitude towards self and others, unwittingly.

Loneliness is self-pity. Your feelings are more important than whatever is going on out there. You are hurt. Somebody hurt you. You are angry with the world. The world did not treat you well. You deserve more. You are the best.
Don't take yourself too seriously. The universe does not care what you think or do.

Loneliness is the complete state of mind duality, solitude is state of indication of oneness. Lot of differences between two. Loneliness is indication of the person's weakness, and it's destroys the screen, where as solitude is the duality positive higher, oneness mind it always keep the person's screen unlimited happy and enthusiastic if the situations are not favorable to you also it never changes it's characterstic give unlimited happy. Purely Person's choice.

Loneliness, solitude, aloneness ... "Alone means all one" in a dictionary term, K says.
Aloneness walks all by itself, running solitude (enjoying the state of leaving everything behind...!), leaning to nothing-nowhere-nobody!
Loneliness is from self-centered lifestyle ... personal boundaries...?
