Thanks for showing how to remove the x-ray out which way to turn. I don’t know why no video shows which way to turn. Like I get it lefty Lucy righty tidy but doesn’t help.
Ah okay. Yeah, mine came out easy unscrewing in the typical counterclockwise rotation, so I didn’t think to leave that in when I edited this. I try to cut my videos down as much as I can to just leave in the relevant stuff and stuff that might give someone issues. I always hated trying to watch a DIY where someone spent more time talking than they did showing me how to actually do whatever it was the video was about which are why most of my videos are cut down so much. Hate that your bolt snapped, but on the plus side at least it’s in a location that should be easy to extract.
ya i get it bro but the 4 videos i watched all skipped that part haha n then it snapped so i got heated...the other one came out but had to use impact drill. looks like it was replaced previously coz the black sticky cover was damaged. so previous owner went to town on tightening it. now i gotta find a shop to remove the stripped bolt :D@@ModestlyMinted
If you can’t find a shop who will do it for a decent price you might want to consider doing it yourself. Extractor sets aren’t that expensive and it’s in a convenient location. Should be a quick fix.
@@DavidSprouse-n5g I went to the dealership for this one. I’m fairly sure it was because I had a hard time getting one as I rarely go to the dealership for parts. It was around $300.
Do you mean between the pad and the actuator? If so, then I’d always recommend cleaning the pad. If that doesn’t work I’d replace the pad first because it’s much cheaper. If that still doesn’t fix your issue then that kind of narrows it down to the actuator.

Could you clarify what you’re asking? Are you asking about the bolts holding the actuator to the door or something else?
YA the bolts i was using voice text coz gloves :D

How do you know which.one to replace?
