    Great combination of instruction and humor, which made the whole learning process enjoyable and easy to follow. I would add, to first time users, have patience. It's not only balance, but how you hold it, against your chest or away from it. Goose steps or regular walking. Every Gimbal is different on that end, and for me at least, it took several attempts of figuring out the way I want to operate it before I really started to bring back solid footage. Once figured out, a great gimbal for sure!

    This was definitely one of the funniest videos you've put out. Really enjoyed it. That vlog light add on is actually pretty cool as it saves you one more thing to have to pack. Seemed to really give you ample enough visibility to mitigate noise. Obviously helped by the wide aperture of the lens.

    I used your Zhiyun link a while back and got the Weebill 2. Compatibility list for the Weebill 2 showed my ZV-E10 with my Sony 18-105 mm F4 lens. So thank you! Now that I finally took my ZV-E10 out for the first time last week, I gotta get this out of the box and figure it out, or the camera nerds might get mad. Not to mention my husband, who knows I bought it and haven't used it yet. Can't help it! We were packing for the tulip festival, had my camera and lenses all nice and neat in my new camera nerds backpack, took the lid off the Weebill box and cowered. Too much for the first time out! Ah well, I'll figure it out now. Anyway, thank ya.

    The company that makes a gimbal that can be balanced in seconds with any camera / lens combo wins. I have a few gimbals that collect dust because it just takes so long to balance especially if you want to switch lenses in the field. This looks like a beast but unless I can balance it in seconds I'm out. How they make that happen I have no idea but luckily there are much smarter people in the world that can figure that out. Thanks for the great review. Cheers.

    I find it interesting that both DJI and Zhiyun released Gimbals on the sixth of twelve months, and the 15th of 30 days in that halfway month. Absolutely balanced, as all Gimbal things should be. A nice Easter egg if ever there were one.
    I still think DJI has the edge, but not everyone has DJI money. Zhiyun is a great choice for the rest of us.

    So obviously I found you because I was doing my homework on the ZV-E10 and of course.. the most knowledgeable, most professional, most critically acclaimed TH-cam channel on the topic made its way onto my phone screen. Thankfully so. After binge watching pretty much all of your content on this camera I can say I’m definitely going to get it, I just have really one question left in regards to gimbals.. is there any out there that are not like the biggest versions but also let you control all or pretty much all of the functions of the ZV-E10 from the gimbal itself?

    • @SmileyBoy
      @SmileyBoy ปีที่แล้ว

      I was pretty excited about the Scorp Mini but then realized it’s very limited to what you can do as far as adjusting settings on the camera from the gimbal

    • @MarkBennettCameraCrisis
      @MarkBennettCameraCrisis  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      the problem with controlling the zv-e10 from a gimbal is that once hooked up, you will lose your face and eye autofocus and it switches to a centre autofocus. this is the case with a lot of Sony cameras and gimbals. this is why I use gimbals to stabilize and don’t connect them to the camera. I like the Crane M3 for the zv-e10 the best. this Weebil 3 is amazing but overkill for my zv-e10 with my smaller lenses.

    • @SmileyBoy
      @SmileyBoy ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MarkBennettCameraCrisis thank you so much for that explanation, I’m very new to cameras in general outside of occasional iPhone shots but very interested in getting into it more. Considering the fact that I’d love to keep those focuses you mentioned I would definitely err on the side of just using the gimbal for stability as well. Much appreciated man! Keep up the great work!

    Hello Mark! I need your help!!! I am trying to setup my Sony ZVE10 with the zhiyun weebil s with both firmwares updated. The issue is that to connect the gimbal to a Sony camera, I have to turn on the PC remote function. And as soon as I do that, I lose the face and eye AF! I am going nuts over this issue and not many people seem to be talking about it! Some help from your experience will really be appreciated! Does a simple selfie stick help with stability to some degree?

    • @MarkBennettCameraCrisis
      @MarkBennettCameraCrisis  ปีที่แล้ว

      I find it does, yes as long as it’s not extended too far.
      because it’s easier to hold a tripod than a camera. however, if you extend a selfie stick too far, it will likely be even shakier because every little jitter will be picked up.

    This is like the tenth video where TH-camrs were given the Webil 3 to say nice things about it and they all rave about the wrist support. But let’s be honest, it’s a screw on attachment. What’s really stopping Zhiyun from making a similar screw on accessory for a Webil 2, other than they prefer to sell you a Webil 3.

    • @MarkBennettCameraCrisis
      @MarkBennettCameraCrisis  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I didn’t spend a lot of time on the wrist support, because as I said in the video, I’ll likely use the gimbal without it most of the time. to me the big thing is 21 hour battery life compared to the 9 from weebill 2 along with being much lighter 👍 I don’t say nice things about things that aren’t good. Go through my reviews and see.
