imagine if Jagr never left the NHL and played through it all. his hockey IQ and work ethic is/was off the charts!
He would've had a chance at being the all time leading goal scorer had he not went to the khl
He has said himself that if he hadn't left for the KHL for a few years he wouldn't have played as long as he did.
@@JiiHate he would have played well into his 40s regardless. he just went a different route unfortunatly.
Unfortunately so is his gambling addiction, which is probably why he left for a while, and why he's still playing. Amazing talent nonetheless.

Jagr is simply LEGEND! He is still playing for his hometown club, the highest league in the Czech republic. And Jagr is 50 years old now!!!!!

Damn I remember being about 11 watching my first NHL playoff series and hearing about this jagr kid on the opposing bench against my Bruins. 18 years old at the time and somehow he's still going. Amazing.

I've been watching this guy since 1990 when I started collecting hockey cards. I knew he was good then, but never, ever would have guessed that would become one of the greatest (2?) of all time. And he's actually still playing?????

Laser beam type snapshot. One other player who reminded me of his shot: Petr Nedved. In a class of his own though.

The access we have to highlights today when we had to wait days or the next Rock 'em Sock 'em to see these glorious goals.

Back in the mid to late 80's it was AL Koken, Jeff Rimmer and Craig Laughlin. 2 of same 3 still there 35+ years later.
Not sure when Joe B came on and Jeff Rimmer left but that coverage crews longevity has been a treat for a lifetime caps fan who started by listening to the games on the radio.
Alan May, who I watched play as their enforcer mainly, now adds even more depth of club history to the booth.
Got to meet my favorite, the great Rod Langway (last to play without the helmet !!) a few years back at a game.
Will always remember #3 as the #1.

The most impressive ability he has is this uncanny intuition of how long he can hold on to the puck. That patience under pressure is insane.
This guy made it look like when he wanted to , he could get a goal at will.
His most legendary goal was the one goal he scored with the team I think we all associate with him the most, the Calgary flames.
