Gosh I love your videos! I definitely think they explain away the Delores plot hole when in All Of You she sings “See I knew he never left I heard him everyday” to Camilo. She prolly thought she was going crazy 😭

@@Klainer721 And Mirabel says herself ("Family Madrigal," bridge) "... my cousin Dolores can hear this whole chorus *a mile away* ," which explains why Dolores could still hear him, and in her own words, as you quote, "... I heard him every day!" By the way, in her verse of "Bruno," if you look at the background you can actually see *him* having a little fun and (probably) hearing her rapping!

And the way she said it is very familiar. How often have we heard something like that in movies and TV after a child who had been told by their parents they were imagining things was proven right? Dolores was 11 when Bruno started living in the walls.
(Although I have to point out that the stated ages don't work for me. Swapping Dolores and Isabela with Luisa would fit the characters so much better, making Dolores 7 at that time. It'd also remove the weirdness of one side of the family having both the oldest and youngest grandchild.)

Non-Stop, also written by LMM, also has this polyphonic ending

You said this is "bigger than 'Let It Go'," but before "A Whole New World" (the latest one that *had* come this far, all the way to #1) no animated Disney song had done this!

I don't know if it's a plot hole. She DOES literally say "I can hear him now" and we can see during Doloras's first part that Bruno was actually listening to them fro the second floor as they were singing.

Something to point out as well: Isabela's verse coincides with a key change. Everyone else's verses are in C minor, but hers is on the relative Eb major. That key change further highlights her one positive thing.

I think Isabela's verse is actually quite interesting if you look at it from the context of, WDTAB is a song about a prophet of doom. Everyone makes mention of how Bruno predicts bad things in their lives, so it seems odd that Isabela is bragging. But if you take into consideration that to Isabela, the "life of my dreams" is actually the life she links Abuela wants for her, it's also a condemnation of Bruno: she thinks Bruno has prophesied that she'll forever be trapped in this life of perfection, because that's what Abuela has made her believe is the "life of her dreams". That was my interpretation of it.
