Looking for a straight forward video on how to adjust head lights on my classic oldsmobile. Glad i came across your video. Best video that's simple and straight to the point. Thank you!
Most people just pull up to a garage door or a wall and tweak the lights around not even knowing there's a specific way to do this. We've been guilty of that ourselves. Thank you for watching!
Thanks David, I’ll just send you directions to any friends I know just did any work on their truck or car that will change the headlights alignment! Excellent information, great production, awesome explanation!
Always align your headlamp “After” major suspension modifications, new springs, different engine, differential or spindles that lower the trucks front. Don’t forget, get your alignment done first. Just a thought from a tech who used lamp alignment suction-cup factory tools. ASE Master Tech since 1978. Stay safe and the shinny side up...unless the bottom is done!
Thanks for the video. From my perspective watching the video in north America, your camera angle must be reversed because the headlight you first adjusted would be our ditch side. I personally want to see what's in the ditch or coming from it. I think somewhere in editing the image was reversed?
Thanks brothers good info! Have you guys done a video on front frame rale crack repair underneath were the steering pump is located! That will be helpful
Great question. You would adjust the low beams as described here, and adjust the high beams directly in line with the measured height of the center of the bulb.

Our pleasure, thanks for watching!
@@BROTHERSTruckPartsTVyes best I’ve seen for my old f100 thanks 👍🇦🇺
I see a lot of vehicles on the road you can tell when they messed with the headlights not knowing what they're doing. More people need to watch this

Even I do that.. but then I put it on the road and look at the pattern on the road.

Good info! I'll definitely make sure mine are lined up!
Right on!
Measuring center to center of two identical shapes is the same as measuring from the left side to left side, or right to right 😉🙂
Beautiful truck!
We agree!
Another great video, thank you!
Thanks again for watching!

That’s really helpful.
Thank you😊
You're welcome 😊
Does it have to be 25 feet back? My garage isn't that long.
Great video! Any other tips for a 86 squarebody with the low beams on top and brights on bottom?
Adjust the low beams as described here, and adjust the high beams directly in line with the measured height of the center of the high beam bulb.
You all should do a 4 light set on the 85 chevy k20
Thank you

Thank you for the suggestion!
Thank you for your time.....
You bet!
Was the lights set to high beam? I think so but wanted to verify.
Never mind. I found the answer in the comments.
Glad you found the answer!
What if it is a GMC with side by side lights. ( separate high & low ) ?

@@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV Thank you for the reply & the good business I have received from you guys.
BROTHERS Truck Parts
Thanks x2.., mine is an ‘86 top set and lower set of headlights
You set this on the low beams correct?
Absolutely!
@@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV okay just wanted to make sure. I've heard you wanted to adjust on high. Thanks for the reply.
If you just spray paint the bulb white it floods the road and you ain't even gotta adjust them.
I knew math would come in handy...
LOL, thanks for watching!
