    We're so conditioned to say, "run it by your doctor". MOST doctors are clueless and will discourage you from taking it out of ignorance...which is so unfortunate.

      I came off of 5 medications after taking this Sea Moss. If someone is ingesting too much throughout the day, I recommend no more than 3 TB spoon in a day. Me personally, I make a gallon of juice/veggies together and add a forth of jar of Sea Moss in my blender. This lasts me 3-5 days according to how I drink it. I'm good. Everyone's body is different. You may need more or less, your body will let you know.

      100%, my doctor got me on omeprazole which it came out recently is giving people dementia, telling me to get the clot/heart attack jab and was putting my mom on things that was ruining her body (statins), no longer going to listen to any mainstream dr, we need to get out of this myth that we have to listen to what these big pharma puppets are telling us. and research / heal ourselves

    From when I was a child of jamaican parents we had Irish moss to drink, my mother used to boil it and mix it with milk and condenser milk, cinnamon and nutmeg, we had to drink it mostly on Sunday. Now I buy it blend it after soaking it for at least 12hrs, no dairy a little spinach, spiraling and maybe a banana to sweeten, sometimes I will use coconut water to blend it with.
    So far I have never had a negative effect from Irish Moss. But for me it's back in the day food/drink.

This explains just about everything I experienced in the first three days of taking sea moss, even right down to taking it not inside of my coffee by immediately alongside my coffee. I’m still experiencing the gassiness even now, and I was starting to get worried, wondering where it was coming from. This was helpful. I have indeed lowered my dosage, too. Thanks!

      @benjaminhite5199 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well coffee is acidic. And since CMOS is a plant it is chlorophyll which is basically oxygen for cells. So when you are taking coffee and CMOS you are actually destroying the cell structure of the sea moss. It's kind of like taking a vitamin and drinking pop with it. You're basically destroying the nutrients. Coffee is very cancerous. And actually cancer loves acid. Cancer comes from yourselves clotting in your lymphatic system and yourselves become cancerous in that spot. Coffee is actually very dangerous. That's why it stains your teeth. Imagine what is doing inside your body. There are other ways to get energy. But long story short. You have to watch your acetic and your chlorophyll or your alkaline balances in your body. So what you do is find something plant-based to give you energy with your seamoss. You can get chlorophyll drops. You can juice fruits and vegetables. Do some research it always helps.

    Im on day 2 of using Sea moss. Im an ex smoker and been generally unhealthy most my life. Started my fitness journey about 3 years ago. The main side effect is my body is pushing out ALOT OF MICUS . Yellow colored. I usually cough out black phlegm from my lungs detoxing old tar so the change to so much yellow mucus was a shock. I also get a lite nose drip as well- although I don’t feel sick . I’ve already struggle with bronchitis from the smoke damage so it’s not like the mucus is uncommon but I mean it’s really coming out. Im taking a tea spoon in the am and one before bed . I may dial
    It back a bit since it really is a powerful medicine and I do need to function without hacking up all the mucus in my system. Overall im enjoying the detox and hopefully my body adjusts as I continue to lift , lose weight and eat healthy

      Sea moss helps rids the body of mucus. So all that excess waste of being pushed out. Have you changed your diet? Because if you're still eating things that build mucus, your body is just going to keep pushing it out.

    I definitely think it’s good to test out what amount works best for your body. I make my own gel and have found that about a teaspoon in a smoothie is best for me. I get it from St. Lucia. Any more than a teaspoon and I will be gassy or nauseous. My husband, on the other hand, can tolerate more. I also can’t put it in anything warm. But many people do put it in their coffee, tea, and stews. Among many other things, sea moss is a natural cleanser. So be prepared for that. That’s why you have to test your body’s tolerance. Just my 2 cents. 😊

      Hello Travel and wellness , on the grand scheme of things , If your feeling gassy after consuming sea moss, there are a few possible reasons . So if it’s gracilaria (stringy version ) you need to boil it more on a low heat to help break down the cell walls (30-40 mins) so the bacterias inside of your colon don’t have to give off so much steam trying to break it down , or you need to up your pro-biotics and/ or enzymes consumption . 1 teaspoon is simply not enough am afraid even though digestion wise it works well for you, your simply not going to gain 2% of the benefits this super food has to offer . . sea moss is a form of cell food . 1 spoon of sea moss is like having a teaspoon of cooked rice per serving . One of the main functions of sea moss is its ability to form structured water that easily assimilate into cells which also hydrates the body with living water . Can you imagine drinking one teaspoon of water per day hmmm . Hope this information finds you well.
      P.s it’s coming from a good place

    I make my own sea moss gel. If not clean properly you will experience some of those things. Sea moss will help cleanse your colon. It help those that are constipated loosen up they bowels to make a bowel movement without strain. If not cleaned properly the smell of sea will make you gag and even upon intake you may vomit. So its best to watch who your provider is. They hands maybe dirty when packaging it, it maybe also farm raised on a rope, and it maybe not sundried/moon dried. They say Irish is the best but I'm fine with getting mines from my homeland Jamaica. Once again people make sure you do your homework on who and where you are getting this product from.
    Upon taking the real sea moss some people don't like the texture or taste. So some people infused cinnamon, fruits, and etc. You may put it in teas, smoothies, soup and stew for a thickener. It will give you gas and help get rid of the mucus n toxin by loosening up your bowels to make better bowel movement without straining. Change your diet a bit also to see results in losing weight, clearing up skin, hair and nail growth. It also strengthen the bones and give good sensation in brain. Sea moss have many great benefits.

      Head aches are definitely from detoxing, when you detox your body you will always have detox healing side affects, once your body gets use to it, it goes away. Making sure its authentic fresh sea moss is the key & thats any herb or natural supplement.

    Greetings! Some other reasons for side effects.. I just want to add that its very important to know where you source your seamoss from; that is the farmer & their farming & processing practices.. in Belize we call it seaweed.. the algae gets its nutrients from the water in which it is grown so it also absorbs toxins & pollutants as well.. We in Belize farm sustainalby 20 miles offshore in pristine water to ensure premium quality where no offshore runoffs can pollute our seaweed.. polluted water frm sewer runoffs near communities will contaminate the seaweed & so give ppl 'bad belly' issues.. the quality of the water in which it is processed will also have the same effects on the seaweed.. So its important to know your source!!

    I have been using sea moss for about two months now. I buy the ready made gel. I experienced the following when my body was getting use to the moss: gas and bloated, constipation, black poo and headache. These have all settled now but I still pass wind. My tummy is flat now so happy the wind is going.
    I still feel full, I take mine in the morning with fresh fruits, I may move to evening now.
    Benefits I have noticed includes no morning arches, more energy, nails growing better and strong, softer skin

    I do find that making my own gel works better. I can also blend with herbal tea or clove & cinnamon instead of just plain water to create different flavors. But the seamoss that you have here in your video is Gracilaria and I do use it ror detox. However, my body responds much better to the Chondrus Crispus gel. Thats the seamoss that looks like leaves. I use it for rebuilding. It also gets rid of the everyday subtle aging pains like the cracking bones and stretching that used to be needed when I get out of bed 😆 Thanks for sharing. 💕

    I take a high amount of St.Lucia Irish sea moss fortnightly purchased here in the UK, and find that any side effects like you say subside an usually an hour or so after taking it. I wash, soak and blend mine into a gel and use it in my homemade soaps and fruit smoothies. I have found that doctors won’t advice on non prescription medicines because they are not permitted to do so, but as I don’t take medication I don’t consult my doctor, but those that do must inform their doctors of all supplements taken incase they interfere with their current medication.
    I agree the Gas, headaches and a bloated feeling will subside once the body is use to it.

    Some of the seamoss has been bleached. If seamoss does not have a fishy raw, kinda disgusting taste and smell, then it's not pure and this might account for the side effects.

    • @marikowallen358
      @marikowallen358 2 ปีที่แล้ว +42

      Greetings! I'm a sustainable seaweed farmer in Belize.. the term 'bleached' refers to the white color of the seaweed during the drying process under the sun.. its the natural transitional stage from fresh to dry.. depending if u soak the seaweed or not & how long you soak it for b4 drying will determine the potency of the seaweed & the variation in smell & how long u may need to soak it to make your gel.. no bleach is actually used.. its just a term used because at one point the seaweed gets extra white during the natural drying process.. Hav a great day!!

      It doesn’t have a taste. Also, it’s one of the greatest of God’s natural foods. It’s not that sea moss has side effects, it’s an individual thing. No two people are alike. My friend hates watermelons 🍉 because it make their throat feel nausea. There’s nothing wrong with the watermelon, it’s just her system, or something.

    If you are nausea after eating could be a parasite die off reaction, pumpkin seed can also cause nausea if you have parasites. Good to follow up with a bowl purge wiith castor oil to clear out any toxicity left behind if the reaction is from parasite die off, but talk to your health care provider before trying this.

    Thank you for this advice. I've learnt from experience to block out a weekend, whenever I begin a new medicinal product. That way, I can do a self test or evaluation of any cleansing reactions my system experiences. I also start slow and gradually increase the amount and how often I take it. For example, 1 teaspoon in liquid, once a week, to 1 tablespoon in liquid, once a week. Since it's medicinal, it's not to be consumed like water or fruit juice. Usually, with most medicinal products, it's utilize for 3 weeks, then rest for 1 week. Depending on why it's being taken. There's a huge difference between medicinal and social concoctions; yet, both should be taken in moderation.
