Twin falls is privately owned. Back in the day it was free to park, and they just made money on the food truck. More nd more people have been coming, so they decided to take a $10 fee to park. Well worth it.
Hello, I plan to visit June 2024. Was parking difficult to find in general on the road to Hana? I don't want tone overwhelmed with parking and great crowds
Parking is very hard to find along the way. If you see an empty pull out, then take it. Chances are the next one you stop by won't be open. For some waterfalls we had to walk very far to get too. Start early to avoid the crowds!
@@djdrock10 Good advice, start VERY early. I like to hit Paia at sunrise to beat the tour busses. Be advised though, leaving this early will mean a lot of things will not be open yet when you get there. But overall a major + in my book.
All u visitor's that post on the road to Hana have know right to tell other visitor's to go 🚶♂️ and swim any where off the Highway. Our natural recourses are to u all that come to Maui. We the residents on the EASTEND of Maui are fed up with the state system meaning the State Highway, Maui Police and DLNR for allowing visitor's to walk, swim, hike, park on all our pullovers, let bikers on our two lane highway. This is all unexpected by the people on the Eastend. Everyone wants a paycheck and not even doing their jobs! Bad BAD BAD. And the all know about all the wrong doing on our 360 Highway to Hana.
Thanks for your video! I will only have a day to do it as well since going on a cruise.
You are very welcome! Start as early as you can and make sure you aren't driving in the dark!
