Good review. Your insight has stirred some thoughts about my designs to must have side belt clips. I’m not for one to have them belt-mounted, but does the clip function well hanging on the opening inside the pants pocket?

Mine is in the mail. Luckily The one I was looking at was available with next day shipping so I don't have to wait forever to get it.

Yeah, one of the challenges with small businesses but I found it worth the wait.

You think it's so much quality you can buy mine brand new never used because you can't get nothing in the pouches that it says that it will hold

How is the single clip stitched into the sheath? Do the threads go into the spot the multitool is?

I have the same tail of knive clip (first one) as you but with a Leatherman Signal inside it. This setup I use this when camping/outdoor. Normally, I usually carry a Skeletool CS on a daily basis. I actually ordered a left sided version because I usually carry a pocket knife or a fixed blade on my right side.

Thanks for the reply! Looks like there is real knowledge out there on this. ToK doesn't list it as a supported model, but I would guess like the Charge TTI, it might just require some stretching perhaps?

I’ve been intrigued by the belt organizers and may get a cheaper one to try out, thank you for the idea!
Also, have you heard of Biothane (SP?)? It is a synthetic leather product and is used quite often with draft horse harnesses. It’s lighter weight and low maintenance with the feel of leather. I may see if I can find one or have the Amish make me one.
Very useful and informative video, as usual, thank you sir.

I haven't but I'll look into it. Even though I've had some good luck with artificial leathers (mostly plastic based) it would be great to find something that has the ability to wear as long and hard as leather.

Anybody know if a Leatherman Surge will fit?

    • @completionot
      @completionot  ปีที่แล้ว

For his standard size holders, I don't believe so, but he has variants called 'Big Boy' that list the Surge as a compatible tool. Example: taleofknives.com/collections/the-works/products/double-clip-t-tux-big-boy-push-up-xl-flashlight Edit: Another person replied and said the Surge will fit. Looking at the dimensions, my guess is it will stretch the pocket a bit like the Charge TTI would.

Look up the word "thorough" in the dictionary, and you will find a link to this video. :) Well done.

I have the right hip carry one you didn't review. Was a Christmas gift to me. I wear mine everyday I go out.
    Great product..!

Awesome. They are really good. I am working on a review of the other one right now. After I posted this review I started carrying the other daily. There are some real benefits to it - such as less protrusion of the flashlight pocket, taller leather against the waist and the double clips make it rock solid when taking stuff out.
      Thanks for the comment!

I'm sure your love it. Maybe talk about some of the EDC items you carry or other options that can be carried with this product also.

Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate it. It isn't going to be for everyone but I've found it to be great, plus, my jacket and pants pockets are far less burdened.
