- Today I will make a very useful leather good for everyday use and when I go hiking.
I want to create a pocket organizer that fits all my pocket knives, with a belt loop too.
To create it I use high quality naturally tanned leather, "Vacchetta Toscana" for the main body which is a very versatile leather, not too soft, perfect for this use.
For the pocket and the belt loop I use "Buttero" leather instead, which is softer and darker to give a color contrast.
Another leather crafting project that taught me a lot and was very satisfying.

I saw that there is a lot of demand for this type of goods, but at the moment leatherwork is a hobby and I make objects for myself and some gifts for friends. Who knows, maybe one day I'll go into business.

It was a very fun project, because I didn't know if I would be able to give it an attractive shape, but I'm very happy with the result and I'm taking it with me everywhere and showing it to everyone I know. 😅
