I love that he ended up keeping the bee plush in the end, even after everything else was gone or burned. Forgetting things that cause us pain isn't enough. You have to learn to accept things. And learn from them.

I never realized how fucked the Schlatt dad/Sleep Boy adoption story was. His biological dad ordering his adoptive brother to kill him in front of everyone. His bio dad and adoptive big brother dying on the same day, then betrayed by adoptive dad and brother, then the only adoptive brother left with a semi good relationship dies. c!Tubbo character is so deep and dark it's amazing.
It's not even just any normal killing method. Being burned to death using fireworks in a cramped, narrow box is one of the most brutal, torturing way to kill one could ever imagine (probably).
Don't forget the fact that Wilbur (as his adoptive brother) said it himself that he could've save him. But he didn't and just watch him dying.
How was he betrayed by Philza tho? I figured it was the reverse; Phil helped Tubbo build New L'Manburg and Tubbo locked him in house arrest without a trial for not giving up Techno's location. That's a big part of what made this so sad for me; by turning his back on family in favor of maintaining power, he became even more like Schlatt.

I love the part where tubbo burned his past as president but kept the bee. I love the way he found his family in the end. Thank you for making this, its beautiful.

oh my goodness this is so good. It's probably the first time I've ever seen someone take seriously the story of Tubbo being found in a box by the others, but seeing that in combination with him being trapped in yet another box before dying... oof that hurt. Anyway, amazing job, you always make great stuff :)

Can we all be proud of C!Tubbo for breaking generational trauma. He could've ended up like schlatt but instead he is trying his damnedest to raise Michael. Good for him!

EDIT: THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL! OMG! Did anyone else notice Tubbo looked more like Schlatt after the firework explosion? His ears, and the horns on his head changed. He grew up. Maybe that marked the end of his childhood, and now he's an adult? Anyway this WAS AWESOME!
Before the explosion he hid his horns most of the time, maybe he learned to be himself, and grew up in the process

I know he was only in there for a little bit but the way you draw techno is so gender :0, also I love the l'manburg scene where it was Wilbur, Tommy and Tubbo it had so much emotion and god I miss l'manburg, also just the artwork throughout the entire thing was incredible and I love it so much, I love the whole idea behind it as well, the whole idea of a mistreated kid growing up to be the greatest parent they can be bc they want to be better then their parent, the whole animatic is *chefs kiss*
I miss that l’manburg too because Wilbur was the only president that didn’t have l’manburg get blown up by somebody that joined l’manburg when they were president

The way he ended up keeping the bee plush after all that happened to him is so inspirational. Just because you began to hate someone for what they did to you doesn't mean you have to forget about the good memories. Tubbos character is so cool and amazingly thought out but the thing i like most about the dream smp lore/animatics is that Philza always ends up as their adoptive father.

I find myself coming back to this things somethimes, dsmp animatics and all. They feel like an old book now. Everyone has moved on, one way or another, others cant really look back on this times anymore. But I hope that wherever everyone might be now, that theyre doing ok.

I had to hold back tears. The way it's laid out from sad to a happy ending and having thr acceptance of his past. I'm so happy with how Tubbo's lore is followed here😭

why did I think Moana when I read the title-
I just love this so much, from the pacing and the themes. And I also really like how the perspective in the room shots look as well as other human anatomy stuff. Every time I try to make an animatic i get stuck on the whole depth issue with character models and stuff. Keep going Kir, you're an inspiration!
I don't know why but Philza being Dadza or in the SMP the characters showing actual family bonds, etc just gives me so much serotonin, I explode with happiness out of the blue!

Seeing how he kept the bee plush, something that has always been there for him no matter what is just adorable-
It's such a powerful message to see how Schlatt hurt Tubbo in so many ways, but in the end, Tubbo managed to overcome and accept his own past.
THIS IS SO GOOD!!! from the architecture to the character designs, and the small movements. It's so clean and beautiful and it tells you a story to follow! Amazing. Also, I'm in LOVE with your choice of music as well. The Oh Hellos is one of my favorite bands so I'm so excited to see it popping up more in animatics! So cool, mate.

This is… wow… the animation combined with the music is brilliant. And then we’re not even talking about actual story telling yet. Wich was done so well. The relationship and resembles(in looks) between tubbo and jschlatt, especially the moment were tubbo stands in front of the picture. The subtle bee story. Him and Michael seeing ranboo come home. Also Michael holding the bee. It’s al done so well. And the animation is detailed without being overcomplicated. The shadow/lighting is accurate. And the music fit’s the story beautifully. Altogether a masterpiece.

I miss Dream Smp so much, I could write a whole book about it but in summary, it was one of the people who saved me and I wish i could go back. I will be just like them when i grow up and keep the fandom alive

you don't get how many times I've watched this animatic these past few weeks, this has got to be one of my favourite dsmp animatics I've seen so far (and I've seen quite a lot). it goes through so many emotions and stages of his character, and at the end?? the warm and safe atmosphere of his newfound family just radiates off the screen and it's just incredible. I especially love the frames at 3:42 and 4:55
