This boat a BIT TOO BIG for me. Do you think the 219fs is a great boat in the 20-23’ bay boat segment?? Any other suggestions in similar price range? We fish quite a bit and want to off shore on calm days
A lot of nice features but that exposed pipework on the console is behind the times. Incredible amount of fishing tackle storage, but that bench seat has to go.
The use of space in the helm seating/rear-facing seating was very nice. I'll pass on just about everything else. It's like they said let's build a 29' boat and put everything imaginable in it. The result is a boat that is ok at some things and good at nothing.
Fair enough, not for everyone. I know personally I wouldn't want to dedicated so much room to seating as I primarily fish on our boat. But to someone looking to do a little bit of everything, I think this boat can be a great option.
@@LivinSalty obviously I am in the minority as even the manufacturers who historically leaned towards serious fishing boats have at least a couple of models that are filled with seating. In the bow a coffin box lounge seat to me is the perfect compromise.
@@TheSpadre agreed I love a coffin box in the front! I actually have a walkthrough coming out in the next couple weeks of a new 28 Sea Hunt that features a coffin box
He pulled it out of his ass. There is no such thing as a new 29’ twin engine center console for $160k anywhere in the world that I would drive past line of sight to land. That one has $12000 worth of electronics, $13000 joystick piloting, $4500 trim tabs, $2000 windlass, etc….. I agree it’s stupid money for a 29’ but that’s the market today. The cost of raw materials has doubled since 2019, labor has gone up 30% and property casualty insurance has almost doubled too. It’s half the price of a stripper top tier boat. kW is a top end mid tier builder, the price is very competitive.
I agree with you on the price. They are just crazy to think it's worth over 300 thousand dollars. More like 150 thousand dollars in most people's mind I'm sure.
Do me favor. I posted a video a couple before this one of the best beginner/entry level boats. Go into that comment section and tell those people that this is an entry level boat. They don’t even consider a sub 100k center console as entry level, don’t think they’re gonna go for that 😂
Wow! This boat has so many different features than I’ve seen on other cc models. Kind of fishing in luxury 💎. Great job walking us through it.
Definitely like fishing in luxury!
Thanks for coming and doing a video on the 291 FS! We’re pretty proud of it!
My pleasure! You should be, it’s really an awesome boat! I still can’t stop thinking about that tackle station behind the helm seating 🤤
Billistic was better
@@willispautz better for fishing yes. But they don’t make them anymore. And everyday less and less people even go fishing

Love your content thank you
Great stuff brother ❤❤
The battery compartment door folds all the way down. You just have to press a lever on one or both sides.
Yup! I found this out after filmed 😅
were those spider cracks in the gelcoat under the livewell seat? I cant tell if it was cracks or dirt 16:14
Dirt
Ma vada via i chapp!
That's actually cheaper than I thought it would be. I was guessing close to $500K
It's a great boat for the price relative to the rest of the market!

Well some people buy pleasure boats that can be their station wagon of the sea!
This will be perfect for a guy like me that will do 90% cruising with friends and family
286k for 160k boat with a seakeeper hmmm
It’s a great price for a 29 foot feature rich boat
Where did the 160k come from?

Nice boat but way more than it should be. They need to wake up and be more realistic.
most innovative?? more like entry level cc
