I know nothing about Colosseum speedruns, and simply happened to stumble upon this video -- what is the reasoning for your menu navigation when using X Specials on Espeon?? Originally thought it was just a simple misinput error, but after seeing that you did the exact same method like two(??) more times afterwards, i figured that it was a similar glitch to the ball dupe glitch or something but noticed they're still ticking down with each use. Doesn't using the full heal cause a minuscule time loss??? or is there something I'm missing from not knowing how to play the game in this style? An explanation on the moltres thing at the beginning and resetting would also be cool, too, I wanna understand what that was about and how that works as well.
As for the menu inputs when selecting X Specials, it’s because of a glitch that makes it so you can select an item that has no effect in order to then be able to use an item like an X Special on a Pokémon when it isn’t their turn. Normally using an X Special would automatically use it on Quilava instead of Espeon.
