Throwing ourselves into the final iterations of the Prime Cup trainers. Once again, the Master Ball is a big step up in difficulty from the Ultra Ball, though I suspect it may be easier than Poke Cup's Master Ball (which I also have still not cleared, lol). Time will tell. Also, Poliwag does something cool about 2/3 of the way in, butttt it's likely not staying on the team, sadly.

Further progress into the Prime Cup series of Round 2. It's pretty nice seeing opponents we can clear with relative ease, but that may be coming to an end very soon.

Pivoting back to Poké Cup Master Ball, we finally reach the final fight again, at the very least. First half fights seem to be settling into a nice rhythm, but that Snoax fight... man... not to mention the fights that come after it, lol. One of these days we'll beat this Cup!

Taking a brief break from Poke Cup, we instead begin tackling the Prime Cup. Some interesting rentals to pick from here. At least in Prime Cup, nothing outlevels us (they still will have higher stats and better moves tho)! :D

Had a couple of streams in a row of further attempts at Poke Cup Master Ball. Gotta say, the trainer AI, particularly when it comes to whether they switch out or not, is impressively inconsistent. More Master Ball of Poke Cup in Round 2. This time, we eventually defeat the mighty Snorlax, but run straight into new problems.

Sure helps to not lose a battle in Misty's gym, lol. Played Champion a little incorrectly (I think) while trying to be safe, plus some dumb timeloss in other areas. Might improve this a bit while finishing my casual playthrough.

Round 2 Poké Cup - Master Ball. This one's gonna be difficult, and of course I am still trying not to look up the trainer sets ahead of time (only referencing their counterparts from lower Poke Cup brackets). Also, that Snorlax is a beast...

Over three months later, we are so back and ready to finish this game! Round 2 Poke Cup - Ultra Ball. Mostly the same rental team as the previous Poke Cup tiers, but I will want to try some others when we do Master Ball, for Hall of Fame reasons mostly.

Good to be speedrunning again. Very bad run, but ya gotta de-rust somehow.
