I love how you're a REALLY low female alto, I don't come across much of those kinds of covers.
The original song is sad of course, but this version is even sadder to me because I didn't realise she was going to sing from a girl's perspective.
This makes me sad because my dad died from a heart attack last year but we actually didn't know he was going to die :(

Two years ago today I met the most wonderful girl ever and fell in love. A year later she is no longer the girl I fell in love with. And now it's been a year since then and I'm celebrating my birthday and this song played this morning because I set it for myself as a reminder on my phone to never forget her even though she broke me. I still love this song and you sing it so well, it reminds me of the hardships I have faced and people I have lost. Thank you.

She is a great singer, now I'd understand if you disliked because she sang a song sung by someone that's not Japanese, there is absolutely no reason whatsoever you should dislike! I fell in love with her voice ( singing wise, I don't love her as in she herself, you know what I mean). How about YOU go and live the life of a TH-camr. Making videos and trying to keep the subscribers you have! OH MY GOSH YES. You're voice compliments this song so much, and even though it seemed emotionally straining to sing and you looked close to tears, you still managed to sing it perfectly. It seemed like you had an understanding of the song, so you sang much more purely and truthfully than some as you was in tune with the meaning and understood (if that makes sense). I listened to this cover around 6 years ago, I’ve been enchanted with it ever since. I follow her on insta and came to find out that she recently lost her mother, the sheer strength and bravery she exudes is unimaginable, I love her for that very purpose. Always a fan ❤️

This cover is absolutely beautiful and I love it, but it's missing something. Despite how incredibly powerful your voice is (I actually did a double-take to be honest) it just doesn't move the song as well as it does in the original which makes it feel like there's less emotion even though there isn't. Aside from that one thing this cover is perfect!
I agree. I believe she should have slowed down a bit when she was telling the part where the man announced he was sick--it would add so much emotion, but the cover was still great.
