This is one of the best printers you can buy at the moment in this price range. It has a lot of very smart design choices, good quality and well balanced feature set.
It’s great for my use. I have zero issues with adhesion and I don’t use the glue stick. Haven’t changed speeds either. Just buy good filament and have it on a very stable table. Have not made any changes to the default speeds with either flashprint or orca.
They just released Klipper firmware for it so that should help it compete going forward! The closed environment was one if its biggest knocks.
This is NOT true. What they posted is incomplete and outdated.
@@chriss2295 Yeah unfortunately it wasn't quite as simple as we would have hoped, though I do believe people have gotten stock Klipper up and running on it. I think since the Q1 Pro came out it makes a little more sense as a top pick, though it has a similar Klipper issue.
This is an amazing printer. you do have to follow procedures but if you do you will get awesome results
Wipe tower. Layers need time to cool. More beneficial on smaller parts.
First time owning a 3d printer and I'm just learning..... Struggling with bed adhesion. I think it has something to do with the default speeds set by Flashprint and Orcaslicer. Slowing this thing down gives MUCH better prints.
Please wash plate soap water it will stick oil resudues with result of processing not be washed i have one after learned this bed adhhesion will be good i have no isssue right now
From what I learned on another printer (Sovol SV07+) I just always put a little hairspray on the plate first (not while it's in the machine of course!) before printing, and sometimes heat-soak the head & bed before printing (TPU especially).
I'm completely new to 3d printing. Can you explain the purpose of the block near the printed model? you had it on every print
I think it's used to get the timelapse shot by taking a still photo each time the print head moves to the block and away from the model being printed..
Use this machine with Orca Slicer 2. Avoid Flashprint
I am new to 3D printing. Why is the firmware controversial? Is there a privacy problem?
It really doesn't. Nothing stacks to the x1 or p1s.
P1S has an awful screen and both bamboo's send your files to China. Trade off's my friend.
@@hexesandheroes 1. The screen is fine. 2. That's total nonsense. 3. Who cares anyway?
The printers do their job faster, better, and without the metric fuckton of tinkerfuck waste to setup. Replacement parts if needed are cheap and quick to get and don't ruin everything else when installed.
This was written by a person who prints on...? I will mention only a few points. They are details, but for someone they can be fundamental things that change the overall view of the matter.
1. Flashforge can be quiet!
2. Ultra-quick replacement nozzles including hotend...
3. Faster and easier filament insertion.
4. More accurate placement of the printing pad.
5. Price... Compared to the P1P, it has an enclosure, internal circulation, a carbon filter and a large fan for cooling the overhangs for the same price.
@@3DPrintKing this is coming from someone who started on a flashforge and an ender clone. Flashforge has probably the worst slicer and software support in the game. And sure it's cheaper than a P1P by 100-200 bucks. (get a K1 then)
That printer and company has been left in the past just as far or farther behind than prusa and their absolute lunacy pricing.
@@MrSirclintfrom what I've been seeing, the K1 is a glass cannon. It seems it performs really well right up until it breaks itself.
