    That explains what I have felt all my life, that too much of a good thing is bad, my family have laughed at me and I have struggled to put into words my deep down conviction. I do not trust people that are happy all the time.

    Well said. I particularly like the ending. The movie The Matrix hit upon that very concept of us as a race destroying what is perceived as perfection because chaos has to be included for us to be happy.

    The oppressive mood always turns into the bad tempers, no present moment but fixed on thinks of the wrong time passing and hoping, also too much negativity thinking 🤔, too much needed comforting from others!
    Why’d you think to be comfortable other people firstly, that you are so valuable from being the giving one.

    Mental toughness is a crucial trait that can help you overcome challenges, bounce back from setbacks, and achieve your goals. It's the ability to stay focused, motivated, and resilient in the face of adversity. To develop mental toughness, it's important to challenge yourself, embrace discomfort, and practice self-discipline.

    The richest , least productive people I know have no responsibilities, drug problems, horrible interpersonal relationships full of bitter in-fighting, living childless lives without meaning. Sad when the trust fund takes over a person's life.

    Rules for Life, page 189 - this is described as one of the central axioms of Christianity - "the right of the believer to reject any real moral burden because the Son of God has already done all the important work." It is a falsehood; a malevolent distortion of the understanding that we can lay the burden of our guilt down at Jesus' feet IF we are truly REPENTANT, and that means to resolve to follow His path and to sin no more. This constitutes an acceptance of moral responsibility.

    I had a tbi not too long ago. Now. I’m not saying it fixed my brain. But this video has me looking at myself in a different light. Before. Everything was negative. After. I felt a balance strike. Maybe, it’s because of the finality of that injury. I was told I should be dead. Or. Maybe it shook up a little something that needed it. Anyway. I’m full of joy to be alive. This event made me strive to get the career I wanted and felt I deserved. And. It may me realize. Life is about ups and downs. And. How you react to them. I enjoy my career. There are things that still need my upmost attention. But. I am surrounded by people, that have the same goal in mind. I want to thank Mr. Peterson. There was a time in my life. I wanted to end it. I watched one of his seminars. And. It made me realize, what was wrong. And. How to go about changing that. It helps that I have a wife in my life. Who always has my back and I always have hers. We call out each others bs. And. We both accept our failures. Thank you again Mr. Peterson.

    Jordan Peterson's "rules" for life?
    I don't think so.
    In January Jordan claimed on “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast that being transgender is a result of a “social contagion” and similar to “satanic ritual abuse,” and suggested that acceptance of the trans community is a sign that “civilization’s collapsing.”
    My wish for those who are transgender, is that they will all feel "normal" ... which is what all of us want to feel ... as important as any other person on planet earth.
    They might be only 3 percent of earth's population ... but I suggest that they are very important members of society.

    • @spqr_dsf
      @spqr_dsf ปีที่แล้ว

      And he's absolutely right. Look at you doing exactly what he's talking about. If you don't feel normal just chop off your D, take some hormones and you can feel normal now. And if you don't agree with our community then your opinion is not valid in any way. Isn't that a part of a culture so exclusive that you exclude everyone else? You can call that satanic in a a philosophical way of evil, lying and misinformation.

      Do you not think that Jordan's following words are bullying?
      In January Jordan claimed on “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast that being transgender is a result of a “social contagion” and similar to “satanic ritual abuse,” and suggested that acceptance of the trans community is a sign that “civilization’s collapsing.”
      And following are the words of Jordan Peterson … Do you believe these words are not a form of verbal bullying? ... “Gender identity and gender expression are not valid ideas. They are not true. There is no evidence for it. I don’t know what the options are, if you don’t identify as a man or a woman. There is an idea that there’s a gender section. I think that is an ill-informed opinion. Gender identity and sexual orientation are the same thing. I don’t believe these people, these terms, stand for good things. I think these people use these terms as a pretense that they stand for good things; as a pretense for them to carry on their nefarious activities.”
