You might want to look at the songwriters hall of fame site (in the USA) which lists each members songs that got them in the hall of fame. Queen members -check it out. It will help you understand why people claim each member wrote hits and were inducted in the rock and roll hall of fame. Queen’s music was eclectic because each member wrote music but they all did work on each song especially later in their careers.
hi there, good vid...we are the champions as far as I remember was number one for 12 weeks in France. The rules stated at the time that 12 weeks was the limit any song could top the charts. That was the reason they switched the sides and We Will Rock You then spent its own 12 weeks at number one ;)
I'll always remember A kind of magic, when I was almost 8. Even better when I found out years later, how different the original version was, from Highlander, and how Freddie pretty much rearranged it all.
Freddie could have made a fuss over Rogers kind of magic He didn't interfere with the film version He felt it could be a hit so added guitar and solo and bass and re arranged it Roger gives credit to Freddie for making it a hit but its completly credited to Roger I do think Roger should have put one of Freddies songs as a B side to get credit
Good video about Queen and good information about his number 1s, now I will give you a curious fact about Bowie: Bowie got a number 1 on each continent with different songs, examples: Sorrow (1973) reached number 1 in South Africa, Space Oddity (re release in 1975) reached number 1 in the United Kingdom, Fame (1975) reached number 1 in the United States, Lets Dance (1983) reached number 1 in many countries, including New Zealand, and Seven Years in Tibet (1997) reached number 1 in Hong Kong, with a version that Bowie released in Mandarin
Bo Rap Brian did the solo on most songs. There was an issue with an earlier song, Freddie wrote the solo but Brian contributed so wanted shared credit for the whole song Freddie said no If he prefers to do his own fine and that will be noted but not officially not financially Brian agreed to that
The Beatles may not have achieved it, because of Ringo, but in reality they did do it alone, it is the only band in history where its 4 members have achieved number 1 solo, and also, much more merit because each one had at least 2 Number 1 in the United States!
Freddie songs except for Brians solo Were composed and written by him If there was anything significant it would be noted such as a phrase If it was cinsiderable it would be joint credit
Brian did NOT write the other guitar parts on Bo Rap on any other Freddie song don't lie Bo Rap Brian said himsrlf Freddie wrote the riff on guitar He said himself Freddie wrote h8s parts on piano sometimes on guitar Brian said Freddie wrote good things for guitar That he forced him to play in a way he wouldn't normally play
It was number one somewhere definitely! I deleted my script for this episode, and all the research I did too. It might have been France? Not 100% sure though sorry
Queen always stated who wrote the songs, they consider whoever wrote the lyrics was the writer. So that's how Queen viewed the credits. In the 90s they decided credits would go to all band members to cut down on arguments. You're not really correct about Queen.
It seems to me that you didn't actually take the time to understand the points I made in my video, because I mention the very things you've just said and explain them in context 👍
Days of our lives didnt chart independently only with bo rap 91 look at the chart shows it only says Bo Rap was no 1 Official on sites both are no 1 but generally dool was seen as an add on and not truly no 1
What a downer! Don’t understand the necessity for this. Headache here. Terrible conversation, your words and my mind. The reverse of and almost as horrible to think about as communities not wanting children to learn real American history. Can’t we be constructive please? EDIT: Had to do an immediate return with reminder. I don’t think neither of the two remaining adored Queen members still very active have written a contender for being a hit. Roger’s Outsider album is wonderful but…. Anyway Freddie died, and there’s been no new Queen song to flirt with being No. 1. Freddie’s input importance is obvious by that. Yes, Horrible conversation here.

Innuendo was Freddie and Roger
Not a collab
Steve Howe did the spanish guitar
Freddie couldnt write sheet music
But composed their parts on piano
For brian sometimes on guitar
Freddie could have made a fuss over Rogers kind of magic
He didn't interfere with the film version
He felt it could be a hit so added guitar and solo and bass and re arranged it
Roger gives credit to Freddie for making it a hit but its completly credited to Roger

I'm going slightly mad was No 1 in Hon Kong. Did you count Love of my life (in Argentina)? Heaven for everyone (Argentina, Poland)?

Bohemians rhapsody was written all by Freddie +guitar riff.
We are the champions was no 2 uk
You could have atleast said John AOBTD was no 1 in US
Bo Rap Brian did the solo on most songs.
There was an issue with an earlier song, Freddie wrote the solo but Brian contributed so wanted shared credit for the whole song
Freddie said no
If he prefers to do his own fine and that will be noted but not officially not financially
Brian agreed to that
If Brian expected financial shares on each song because of his solo they would have wrote them for him
Thanks for explaining, it always puzzled me the song writting credits of the band.
The Beatles may not have achieved it, because of Ringo, but in reality they did do it alone, it is the only band in history where its 4 members have achieved number 1 solo, and also, much more merit because each one had at least 2 Number 1 in the United States!
They weren't the only band to achieve that.
Are you seriously saying bo rap would not be succesful without the solo!?
Freddie songs except for Brians solo
Were composed and written by him
If there was anything significant it would be noted such as a phrase
If it was cinsiderable it would be joint credit

you are true all Boh.Rap was written by *Freddie himself+guitar riff
Lady Gaga is my favorite Queen song :v
Haha!
Jajajaja
Wait The Invisible Man was a Number 1? Where was it Number 1 I can't find anywhere that says that.
It was number one somewhere definitely! I deleted my script for this episode, and all the research I did too. It might have been France? Not 100% sure though sorry
Oh OK no worries 👍

Sorry to upset you with this video. What is your main problem with it?
It certainly wasn't intended to be a downer!
@@bigyellowpraxis Your offering was destructive (nothing to be gained by ANYONE!). finis
