See the truth with Film Studies Quarterly Review's original Billy Liar (1963) Trailer - th-cam.com/video/1zXdQojgUyU/w-d-xo.html #film #movies #filmstudies #filmreviews 🍿🎥🎞
The movie birth of "softly blown English rose" Julie Christie...but it was in 'Don't Look Now' that she really caught my attention. So beautiful, so sweet, so vulnerable!
Aw man, this video has a bad crop. Pan-and-scan it looks like This is my favorite scene. The video cuts out during the line "You've had it, Fisher mate. You've had it!" Hilarious.
The scene of the chance meeting with Councillor Duxbury on the hillside is good. Wise illuminating words from Councillor Duxbury and he's nice to Billy despite his misdemeanours.

Julie Christie lovely bird.
Julie Christie was beautiful in this role.
Damn right!!!
@@filmstudiesqtlyreview Julie Christie is beautiful all the time 🤷🏻♀️
She is beautiful. Sadly not as good at acting as the 1st choice for the role. Topsy Jane. Who sadly couldn’t continue with the shoot.
I saw her walking along Notting Hill Gate in about 1990. Carrying a shoulder strapped handbag and looking lovely.
