I enjoy this series with Chris. It puts the spotlight on lesser known and “moms and pops” type of eateries. Great job, keep it up 👍🏽

Chris absolutely nailed it with this episode. I’m Lebanese and, believe me when I say that Phoenicia is a great food version of Disneyland. They have everything a Middle Eastern guy would ever want, and more. They also make great baguettes to enjoy as well as their fantastic pita bread. I buy 3-4 packages and pop them in the freezer so I can take them out as I need them. Butcher shop is amazing, and on and on.

Seeing this story brought back so many memories..... I had the chance to visit the Phoenicia Market about 8 or 9 years ago, and it a shame I have not returned. I will be returning very soon!

When I lived in Houston, I used to go to Phoenicia about once a month. My favorite things were those garlic herb cheese breads. I loved them so much. Until recently, I had not known that they were a Lebanese bread called Manakish. It's a shame I could only find them at Phoenicia. I would die to have another one, but alas, I live in Ohio.
