    Jake I really appreciate all you have been doing because you’re right. We can rebuild and come back better. Plus we have midterm elections in 2 years, and that is something we can work on now. I’m lucky as I live in Washington state which is a blue state and they have already been making plans. For the community level my friend runs a pantry. It is mostly infant and baby stuff, but when I can I donate hygiene products for the adults like deodorant, wipes and other stuff. She has even been able to help with food donations as well.

      @@moira329 That's fantastic! I'm still trying to find online ballot curing events for Washington, but if you're local and interested, you might be able to volunteer in person: wadems.org/volunteer/
      The race still being decided out there is the 4th district, which appears to run a big strip through the center of the state from north to south. If you live in or around that area, direct door to door canvassing is often the most effective means of ballot curing.

    Thanks Jake. It's been a rough couple of days. I know there more to do and hopefully we will all get through this.

    I honestly think Vance would be the one to kick off Project 2025 after he 25th amendment section 4s Trump for not doing so because Trump strikes me as the kind of person who doesn't like other people telling him how to do his job and I'd wager that Trump was always only a means to an end to the people closest to him. At least the ones smart enough to use him for their own personal gain anyway.

    I used to joke about running for Government but now I’m seriously considering it. To protect people as much as I can from Trump and Project 2025
    Also if you need my help as a creator I can do what I can

      @TheGloryXros Project 2025 is the most recent iteration of the Heritage Foundation's "Mandate for Leadership," which they have been issuing to presidential administrations ever since Reagan's win in 1980.
      Reagan basically considered it his administration's political bible and enacted 60% of their policy recommendations.
      Trump enacted 64% of their recommendations during his first term, and the most recent version was crafted with many of his former staff members. His new VP also has direct ties to the Heritage Foundation's leadership.
      As I said, we have EXTREMELY good reason to believe that Project 2025 will be Trump's playbook moving forward.

    • @TheGloryXros
      @TheGloryXros 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @DatabaseRanger Well I mean, NO DUH there's gonna be some sort of cross-over with Project 2025, due to just how Republican ideals are in general; but there's no proof of him actually enacting that plan specifically.
      Could you point out exactly what's the big deal about it BTW? Just curious, since its over 900+ pages.

    • @DatabaseRanger
      @DatabaseRanger  3 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      @TheGloryXros Broadly speaking, it proposes to convert thousands of administrative positions into political appointments, strip services and protections from members of the LGBTQ community, privatize or cut funding to various agencies, and expand avenues for prosecution of anyone aiding or abetting in abortion, regardless of individual state laws.
      Obviously, there's a LOT more to it than that, since it is, as you said, over 900 pages, but you can tell just from that brief overview that it outlines a pretty large scale restructuring of our federal government to a far more authoritarian model.

      If by fascism, you mean nature healing the worst blue men and women’s damages on this country. Then yes. Fascism is very welcoming. Only scaredy cats aren’t welcoming of them. The brave accept this “darkness” the true light.

    I’m really sorry that you, and those who think like you, feel this way. There is nothing to prove your concerns. How can one look back at the past four years and not see that we are floundering? Look, you are way off base. Your facts are so emotionally based that you are willing to claim that everyone who voted for Trump are not smart enough to see this impending doom you claim. Why do you hate American citizens who voted for Trump? Why do you, and those who think like you, hate those of us who didn’t vote “your” way? I cannot tell you how people on social media that have unfriended me because of my beliefs. Or the sheer disrespect that, and I’m assuming your video is true in intent and not satire, your side displays towards people like me. I’m sorry, but if anyone needs to do some sort of introspective personal soul searching it’s you, and people who think like you.

      @ManofManySorrows Considering your show of empathy here, I will choose to accept your comment in good faith.
      I made no claims about the intelligence of anyone who voted for Trump and I have expressed no hatred for them. I deliberately chose not to talk about how we ended up with this result for the purposes of keeping the video short and focused.
      I made thousands of calls to get out the vote for this election, and that included several meaningful conversations with people who were considering voting for Trump. What they expressed to me was exhaustion, fear, and confusion.
      Our oversaturated media landscape has left people without the tools to effectively differentiate fact from opinion or correlation from causation, and economic hardships have left people with so little time and energy that many voters hadn't even known that Biden had dropped out of the race.
      People are absolutely floundering, but in lieu of having a life preserver to grab onto, they've embraced a cinderblock.

    • @ManofManySorrows
      @ManofManySorrows 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ I responded in good faith, because, one side of the political spectrum gets away with describing the nature of their “opponents” as evil. I want you to seriously sit down as see what Trump/Conservatives have been called since Regan. Nothing you mentioned in this video is founded on truth. Your claims are baseless and are causing more harm than good. I think you are missing a huge point. People like me, who legitimately care about the future of this country are being labeled in disingenuous terms. Again, to my point when Joe Biden won I and many others didn’t go around unfriending people on social media. There were not calls for Joe Biden voters to be shot in the streets. I have been personally excluded from hobbies that I have been apart of for 20+ years because of who I voted for and what I stand for. I’m sorry, but from the extraordinary claims you made in this video, it proves to me that people like me are not wanted in certain circles. That’s fine, but remember who isolated whom.

      @ManofManySorrows I'm sorry, but if you truly believe that Democrats are the only ones engaging in polarizing or threatening rhetoric, or that the claims that I make here are unfounded, then you have simply not been willing to listen to the concerns of others in the way you would like for them to be listening to yours.

      @@ManofManySorrows Wow, well said 👍. I agree 💯. So many of them look at what's in front and scrutinize, but refuse to look at the group they are holding up on a pedestal. This causes many of us to not give much care of what they think or have to say.

      @DatabaseRanger No one is calling you a Nazi, or garbage on a national level. There are not loads upon loads of TickToc or TH-cam videos of women saying they want to kill Democrats, or Joe Biden. For the past ten years the only side that is violent has been the democrats side. You refuse to see that. Are there a small, and I mean SMALL, minority of the fringe(the real fringe) right? Yes, but they pale in comparison to what we have seen from the other side of the political spectrum. You know that. There isn’t any law that is going to be enforced to kill anyone from the LGBTQ, or Trans community. There aren’t going to be laws stopping women from getting abortions at will, or for surgeries to assist after a miscarriage. Those are all lies. And now you have information coming out of Florida, that FEMA leadership instructed workers in Florida to pass by homes with Trump signs in their yards….come on man, seriously open your eyes.
