What audio interface would you recommend for me? it doesn't have to be anything fancy, I use generic "gamer" headphones lmao. I just want something that doesn't have noisy input and output, and it must work on Linux and macOS

Because it's fucked, the design of the eq knobs is flawed. Most reviewers wouldn't say anything as to appease the company, so they sent more stuff. Someone on audio science review posted almost identical data to mine by the way.
I haven't tried that, but this looksbetter quality from looking at what you mentioned, I'd recommend looking for something like a used ifi uno or zen dac
I had one, but wasn't really satisfied with the sound, using my HD560S. Then i tried plugging my headphones into the jack output of my LG C1. Big suprise, it sounded way better, more power, more dynamics, no bass dip. Just miles better. But then again, LG are known for using pretty good DACs in their phones and other devices, so i tried something else, console gamepads. Then, even the headphone outputs of the Xbox Series X controller and Dualsense gamepad sounded very good compared to the Fosi (by that i mean, well, flat) and both powered my HD560S easily without going over 75% volume. Sold the DAC immediately.
Why do i need to have a PhD in "sound science" to listen to some music or play some video games nowadays? Why can't i buy a gizmo for 50 bucks, plug it in and have a good time without having to worry about how much it's gonna hiss at me or what "color" the sound is gonna be? Who the hell am i even supposed to be? Pocahontas? Why does nothing work as intended unless it costs a fortune? Better yet, why doesn't the gizmo come inside the TV or computer already like it used to? God damn it.
My use has been extremely good. This device sounds trashy if you're listening to the computer generated sound. Dynamic range is horrid too. Now, if like me you have properly mastered songs where real instruments are playing, it's a shock. Dynamic Range was bonkers.. sound quality absolutely amazing and no special treatment for bass or treble. In fact on those tracks it had everything I own beat... Not sure why it's so different.. It's a purist and rich sound. You play well mixed tracks and you get unreal sound stage separation and it punches way above it's class... Would recommend if you're into classical music or well recorded songs with real instruments. Don't buy if you're into Rap or Pop.. you'd be disappointed and it will leave you confused like should I use it or not maybe a second DAC etc... If you have good music purchase blindly but make sure you pair it with open back headphones.... Ekse you're money will be wasted.

I think the Focusrite Solo Gen 4 should be okay on Linux

-5dB on the bass when the tone is set to neutral is unacceptable and even when turned up the mid bass dip kills any engage in music, it's quite funny

You could get a used Zen Dac or use a USB C Apple dongle with 3.5mm to RCA

I had same expirience with it, my intergrated realtek laptop DAC sound much nicer. Sound is thin and harsh unnatural.
