- Guitarist Tariq Harb performs the beautiful "Serenata Española" by Joaquim Malats. Originally written for the piano, this arrangement for guitar is by Francisco Tárrega.

That was a truly fine performance on a gorgeous sounding guitar, an Ignacio Fleta. Whenever I hear a Fleta from the 60's I am yet again convinced that these guitars have never been bettered.

Il me semble que le plus important chez ce guitariste soit qu"il soit le premier qui place la musique devant son jeu . Le premier interprète qui rend au compositeur sa grandeur en se refusant de presenter autre chose que la musique ...il ne se met jamais en avant , aucun culte de la personnalité, dégénérescence des "ouvtiers " de la musique devenu plus important que le créateur de celle celle ci

It seems to me that the most important thing with this guitarist is that he is the first who places the music in front of his playing. The first interpreter who returns to the composer his greatness by refusing to present anything other than music ... never puts forward, no cult of personality, like all that degeneration of the "workers" of music become more important than the creator of this one

That Fleta sounds similar to my Oribe, my tone comes off just slightly brighter, but I do not play the Malats anywhere close to how good you play it.
