Great playthrough (as always from you) of a great game...couple of things that might help: the clattering teeth normally indicate a place of interest or "the way to go" to progress the story/mission...so if you're at a fork in the road and want to see everything, go the other way first...and something that was made known to me far too late in my first playthrough is the possibility to reuse the gargoyles you already have a thug strung up from; aim the batarang at the rope and you will cut him down, and the gargoyle can now be used for another inverted takedown 🙃...very useful if you run out of space to "store your baddies" 😎🦇
I remember you already asked twice where was those "models" you unlocked by picking up trophies. So here is a little tip to understand better the overall interface of this game : In the pause menu, under the Riddler section showing you all the Riddler's puzzle and collectibles, some of those are marked with a green key. That mean founding those particular ones unlocks something, mostly things accessible via the main menu. It could be challenges for the challenge mode, or things for the Gallery menu, which are some artworks and 3D characters models. Also, towards the end of this episode, you actually saw a message telling you you unlocked a new upgrade.. but it's a bit confusing, it actually unlocked an upgrade you can purchase once you get enough Exp. You passed it without realizing (it was marked NEW). It's pretty useful, as it's the Sonic Batarang, who permit you to lure an ennemy equipped with a collar. Pretty handy for luring one into an elimination you have prepared beforehand, without waiting for someone to pass by it.
Thoroughly enjoying your playthrough so far! If you’re going all in on Batman please consider playing the 2 Telltale Batman games. Either way I’ll be watching the journey through the Arkhamverse!
Nat has opened her third-eye, and can now select gadgets lol. The batclaw is incredibly fun, and I love how each gadget in the game will help you hunt down and collect those seemingly unattainable Riddler Trophies! It makes back tracking to old areas VERY satisfying
Oh also PRO TIP regarding the Batclaw: You can obviously grab enemies like the game said, but the batclaw is also very effective for pulling baddies down from a high place- like a catwalk for example. Pulling them down from a tall height will yank them, and make them fall down till they crash and become unconscious! I hope I explained this method well enough. Either way I'm absolutely enjoying this playthrough!
I saw your channel the other day & have been watching your gameplay since yesterday. When it comes to some of the riddler trophies, you'll have to wait to get the right gadget to help you get across to reach them, so you'll have to leave them alone for now.
When you do an Inverted Takedown the thugs can hear you, because when you grab the thug he screams- giving away where he is for the other guys. Hope this helps clarify some things for you!
Another use for the Batclaw is that if you are below an enemy, you can use the claw to pull them off the ledge. You have to be sneaky while doing it though, as if they see you, they might be able to dodge the claw.
Yeah Batman has backup plans that he even has a mini Bat Cave under the prison that houses his enemies. That Croc jump-scare was just a small taste of what’s ahead.
If an enemy is attacking and has red over his head indicating an attack it means that those attacks cannot be countered by hitting triangle. You just have to avoid them. I believe in this game the guys with knives are the only ones that have this ability. The knives guys usually attack with a combo attack. As I said you can't counter by hitting triangle, but you might be able to interrupt their attack by hitting circle for the stunning strike. It's pretty much exactly like God of War where you can't block or parry the red attacks from enemies.
Waylon Jones AKA Killer Croc isn't an actual crocodile or a mutant. He was a regular person born in Tampa, Forida with an extreme form of the medical condition that resembled Epidermolytic Hyperkeratosis but was in fact a form of severe Atavism, which caused his appearance to develop progressively into that of a crocodile, hence his name. Waylon was put under the guardianship of his incredibly abusive and alcoholic aunt after his mother died giving birth to him and his father had abandoned him. Waylon had no friends, and was the object of constant ridicule of those who knew him and as a result he grew to resent all of humanity. Because of his condition a lot of people aren't even aware that Waylon is African American.
"I need to listen to this before going to gym or something." Yeah, I don't think there has been a version of Batman, games, movies, cartoons, everything, that didn't have a kickass soundtrack. Except comic books, because they don't come with a soundtrack. But if you read the comics with a soundtrack playing in the background. 🤔
