    Thanks Reza! 💯Great balance of detail and functionality! 💯 Love the wealth of information without needless inflating the length of video!
    I've been tasked with creating Power BI Visualizations that need to be responsive to user adjusting variable values, that I've put into a dataverse table with a custom app, but because I used the dataverse connector I am getting notified that there will be charge when my temp license expires.
    Is there a method to convert dataverse tables to be associated with a team and therefore become included in my Office 365 licensure?
    Also if I do go that route will I be able to share these Power BI Visualizations without adding my external users as guests to that team?
    In the end I'd like to create Power BI Visualizations that my internal users can update variables that immediately refresh without having to worry about the refresh limit as well as provide access to the visualizations to external users who I don't want to have access to app to update the variables but view the power bi visualization and also prevent them from accessing the backend tables and be limited to only interacting with the Visualization Pages I want to provide them.

    • @RezaDorrani
      @RezaDorrani  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the compliments.
      Dataverse (DV) is a premium feature. Dataverse for Teams (DV4T) is not. You cannot directly go from DV4T. You will need to move it manually or use Dataflows.
      Power BI licensing is separate from Power Apps licensing and is not covered with DV4T.

    Hi Reza, I came across this video as I'm looking for alternatives to solve the issue of delegation with Canvas Apps and Sharepoint. My initial idea was to embed the Canvas App in a model-driven one, and migrate from Sharepoint to Dataverse. The problem is that I embedded Power BI reports within the Canvas App. What's your recommendation? If consultancy is needed, I'd be happy to discuss it through another channel. Thank you! Great video as always!

    Thanks Reza. I have followed your approach for bulk edit and update rows, like using button inside gallery and button name on onchange property of each control like Select(button name). It was worked properly earlier but all of sudden it was misbehaving and updating existing records as blank for combobox controls.
    Could you please verify at your end also once and please guide us how can we fix this issue.
    thanks in advance.

    • @RezaDorrani
      @RezaDorrani  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I will have to look at your App in action to provide guidance. My recommendation would be to not use combo box controls in grids since they have a bug in which the onchange property gets called when gallery data is updated.

    Hi Reza. Just wanted to understand does the Microsoft Dataverse is included in the Microsoft Business Premium license? Do I have to procure or pay an extra cost if I wanted to create a PowerApps portal for anonymous access because I'm planning to create a portal where it is accessed by all user types (authenticated, administrator, anonymous). However, for anonymous the amount of people accessing the portal is still unknown. Looking forward to your advise and thank you :)

    • @RezaDorrani
      @RezaDorrani  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dataverse is not covered in Business Premium license.
      You have to procure Power Apps premium licensing to get that. It is an extra cost per user per month.
      Power Apps Portals licensing for anonymous users is based on page views per month.

    Very well explained. Thank you.
    I have an issue though. I have a standalone canvas app integrated with my SharePoint list. Integration is such that whenever a user clicks on new/edit or view a list item from SharePoint, it triggers power app based on selected list item ID. Now I have some views in SharePoint, all linked to SharePoint only. The problem is sometimes when I navigate from one view to another, it trigger power apps randomly when it should just take me to that particular view. This is quite random, doesn't happen all the time. It's kinda frustrating really. I tried reaching out to some blogs, seniors but haven't got any satisfactory result. Can you please help me with this?

    I'm a beginner to Power Apps and I'm hoping to build a knowledge management app for my team. I know what I want it to do eventually but I do not have the skills to just build it right now. So I will be building slowing bit by bit. I think that eventually I will be doing a Model style app, which looks like the information needs to be in Dataverse. Right now my team uses SP lists. Is it going to be a problem later to convert our SP lists to data tables in dataverse once I have the skills to connect all of these things?

      All data validation can be done in Table itself and the model-driven app and portal will respect it.
      Alternatively, you can also drive validation logic with js.

    Amazing presentation ! I’m currently building a apps true teams, because the option to « share with colleagues » et the ability to choose from Azure security group is fantastic because there are updated by my IT teams. It means my app is always shared to the good users. But I have connectors to dataverse, which is embedded in the Solution. But as soon as I connect sharepoint library, my security group does not inherit from the parameter share with colleagues.
    How can I make it even between sharing dataverse data and sharepoint data through power apps for teams ? Thanks a lot

    • @RezaDorrani
      @RezaDorrani  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Only Dataverse security is set automatically via Teams apps. SharePoint or any other data source, you would need to explicitly grant access to security group by going to that data source.

    Hello Reza. Thanks so much for the helpful apps! I was trying to import the Inspection app, but I was facing some issue importing the following flows (Export PDF Tabular Data, Export Inspection Report to PDF, Export Inspection Report to PDF with Signature):
    Flow save failed with code 'DynamicOperationRequestClientFailure' and message 'The dynamic operation request to API 'sharepointonline' operation 'GetTable' failed with status code 'Unauthorized'. This may indicate invalid input parameters. Error response: { "error_description": "Exception of type 'Microsoft.IdentityModel.Tokens.AudienceUriValidationFailedException' was thrown." }'.
    Quite new with PowerApps tbh so I'm not sure how to resolve this. Would you be able to help, please? I checked a few solutions around (i.e. something about DLP blocking which I don't have), but I'm not even sure if they're the right answer to address this.
