Now Tara's getting into a new Lane and a different higher level of real & soulful with true feelings that many wish they possessed when singing. If you cannot give your audience chills and take them for a ride but nothing else exist except what's going on on stage at that time. Very rare!

Beth HART is famous in her own right and this is a collab with guitar virtuoso Joe Bonamassa. Beth is a modern day Janis Joplin and sings with tonnes of grit, edge, soul, passion and serious vocal chops. These days one indication you have serious vocal talent and musicianship is that you don't chart on the mainstream charts. lol
And i am so glad that she looks better and healthier than 20 years ago.

Am i the one i found upsetting it seemed to me it was like a cry for help for an amazing singer being a little out of control (that's what i felt) love her singing which is odd for me as im not really keen on most blues music
@@davidricks7128 There was an earlier one where Beth was about 90 pounds and obviously in trouble, but as "wild" as she was at the Paradiso, Beth had been just been through rehab and clean for about 4 months. It's what made the show so meaningful for her.
Pretty crazy that the Paradiso was a "natural high". Yeah, Beth fights other demons (Bi-polar depression) but she's always been open about it and seems to be dealing with that part of her life. Her stage-command, her writing, her instrumental musicianship, and that F'ing voice... It's no wonder she pulled you into the blues.
Her "coming out" in Amsterdam (The only place that would book her) was supposed to be at a small venue, but the seats sold out immediately. They "upgraded" the venue to the larger Paradiso which was completely unexpected to the band. She shares her gratitude with the audience before "Am I the one"... Now you can go back and watch that show with "New eyes" knowing that it was a "Victory" performance. Have fun.

I agree thank god she got better amd fought her demons but the emotion and pain in her voice was insane so much more then any other time ive seen her
@@mickeydooley2230 For my feeling her voice comes from the point, where pain and joy meet. Laughing and crying the same time. I personally can only remember 2 other voices, which vibrate like this: Janis Joplin and Joe Cocker. Yes many songs are moving. But just the voice...

Beth Hart is an amazing singer and one I feel is almost criminally underrated. This performance with Joe was a musical journey, beautiful.
Tara's reaction was a pure joy to watch as you could tell Tara lost herself in the performance and would have loved to have been in the audience (me too)
Furthermore, the way Tara effortlessly sings back the notes the singers perform is proof of her own talent and gift as a vocalist.

im still waiting on a vocal coach to break down her technique and react to those ridiculous notes. It might just be the greatest belting ive ever heard in modern contemporary pop.
They covered the song, I'll Take Care Of You. That also has two insane solos. That performance was so potent that Miley Cyrus sang that version at her concerts and Drake and Rihanna made Take Care a couple months after Beth and Joe released a covers album with that song on it.
Beth is a true Phenom, Ive see her do this song a dozen times, and she does it differently every time, and all of them are just as good. She is a true Jazz musician with her voice. She adds riffs, breaks and ornamentation, and she really knows how to phrase and pace a song. She can really wail, and then bring it down to a husky growl. She really puts it all out there and leaves everything on the stage, she is exhausted after every performance.

Beth Hart is an absolutely outstanding artist and so is Joe! Your reaction to them was so beautiful to watch since one can see the way you feel their music and energy, thank you.
I always check out any new reaction to Beth Hart and/or Joe Bonamassa. Love them both. I was therefor delighted to see that you were finally going to do a reaction to one of their better known collaborations. Both artists are excellent by themselves but when they get together I feel that they are unbeatable. When Beth and Joe are together Beth sings and Joe plays a mean guitar, but when Joe tours by himself he also sings and I have to say he does an excellent job. He has an excellent voice for the blues.
I truly hope that you do more reactions to both these artists.

OMG was shocked and thrilled to see a reaction to this (and a wonderful jubilant and appropriate reaction at that). Beth is a tried and true soul singer and criminally underrated. When Beth sings you believe every word she says, her voice and delivery are the truth.
Lady has lived some real pain. That ain't fake soul in her voice. It's the real thing, and anyone with any kind of awareness can't help but be awed by this.

One of the all time best live performance videos on TH-cam. Beth has mastered the technique of managing dynamic range. She goes from near silence to projecting toward the back of the hall. She just drags the listener along. It's almost brutal. .As for Joe, he proves once again, that the electric guitar is the best instrument for replicating the human voice, doing what a human voice can do, in a technical sense. Just a classic performance. I can't imagine how it could be better.
I've been waiting for you to react to Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa. Blues is my absolute favorite genre of music and Beth and Joe are my 2 favorite musicians at the moment. Looking forward to more reactions from you to these two brilliant stars that light up the stage.
I bet I’ve listened to Beth Hart sing “Tell Her You Belong to Me” at least once a week since it was released in 2015. Never get tired of it. I’m so glad you found her!
I am a HUGE fan of both Beth & Joe together and individually. Both are the best performers that I have ever witnessed in my lifetime and I'm 75+ years old. I have had the pleasure of individually seeing both in concert...live! I loved your reaction to both and you are spot on. Thank you!

Most of Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa duets are solid. My favorite is “Caught out in the Rain”. I highly recommend giving that one a listen

Nice sincere reaction, just found you, because you reacted to Beth & Joe been listening to both of them for awhile now, they each have own careers, but hooked up and did 3 albums together. She just has an amazing voice with such power and she can do anything with it. Joe, one of the best blue players today, been playing professionally since he was 11, BB king discovered him and Joe toured with him for one summer when he was 11.
You got it, Tara. You feel it too! The blues is at the heart of all great music whether its Beth's killer vocals or Joe's stellar Fender Tele blues. Sing it. Play it. Love it. Beth is a great blues singer, because she has lived the blues. She will go down in history as one of the very best and so will Joe Bonamassa! Joe is one of my all time favourite guitarists , an absolute master , Beth is amazing , having seen them both multiple times live in the uk , Beth is unbelievable , Can’t explain how good , both love what they do and with what they are blessed with ,,,,
I stumbled on this song by accident on TH-cam and I was floored that I had never heard of Beth Hart before. I mean, she should be world famous. This is the only live performance that has brought me to tears and that's saying a lot, because I never cry.
Joe was discovered by BB King and started going on tour with him at the age of 12.
Beth slayed the competition on Star Search. For those too young to know what that is, it is the first televised talent show.

This was a great performance. That guitar solo did things that I probably shouldn't describe on TH-cam. And Beth's grittiness and depth with the lower notes really stands out about the flexibility and talent at the lower register. Phenomenal.

Beth Hart should be one of the biggest stars on the planet with that voice. Shame she's not. I understand why that's the case, but it's sad.

This collaboration between Beth and Joe was preordained by God. They are divinely gifted individuals whom happen to be deeply immerse in the soulfulness of the blues genre. They are absolute masters of their of their given disciplines.

Tara, I hope you can witness them live, together or separate. It will blow you away. I have been a fan of Joe and Beth for several years. I collect all the albums I can of them. Beth Hart is so special; the music literally changed my life. I have spent the money to travel and see these artists multiple times, worth every penny. They are both masters of music. My first Beth Hart show I went alone and another fan said you won't always be alone and a few years later that same person gifted front row seats to me and my then new love. The magic is so in the music. There is something about the blues that just takes me home every time. Check out Joe's "Battle of the strings" he turned me own to my favorite American cello player Tina Guo. Thank you so much for loving this song and their adaptation of the song. It is truly a work of art. Real instruments is always the best!!!

Beth Hart is one of the greatest singers alive today..... she went through a rough time in her life but was just as good. When she came back out of that dark period, she got together with Joe Bonamassa and produced this album. Glad you like her.... you should listen to "I'll take care of you" by her and joe. Then listen to "Chocolate Jesus" ... really good listening and range.
Joe Bonamassa is one of the best guitarists alive today .... right up there with Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton to name a few. One of Beth Harts best songs (I believe) is "A Change is Gonna Come" by Sam Cooke. She sang that song when she was almost at the lowest point of her life and still sounded good. Take a listen to those songs I mentioned. Cheers.

Been following Beth Hart since the late 90's (Star Search) & Joe Bonamassa for almost 15 yrs- he's a true guitar virtuoso. Together they're insane. Truly depressed that Beth's upcoming tour probably will be postponed. I have kickass seats & been looking forward to this...she's by far my favorite female vocalist today.

Beth is the perfect singer, she has grit, she has great technique, she interprets songs brilliantly, and she has SOUL. There is no better singer to emerge in the last 40 years. She is a throwback to the great gospel singers of the 60s and 70s, and why she isn't a superstar I will never know.

I like the version of this she did at the Kennedy center honors for Buddy Guy (the Obamas were there too), Jeff Beck on guitar. Anything from the Albert Hall is good, she's a great songwriter too.
