Also he does a lot of complex patterns on the kicks, I hope you can hear them well, you don't want to miss those rudiments he sometimes incorporates into his kick patterns. The Modern drummer festival and his clinic videos are so insightful and mesmerizing. And you are right that he looks comfortable, sometimes bored. Thanks Jari!
Chris Adler in my opinion is a master of all things Syncopation. I think that is the technique he is a master of.
"Descending" is a favorite of mine from Chris Adler. Andy, have you reviewed any videos by Krimh? He plays for septic flesh, but does tons of cover videos and is a true master of his craft. His dedication to practice and accurate versions of other drummer's work are definitely worth a look if you haven't already done so. Thanks again, always appreciate the reviews.
Thanks Bob!
Agreed!! KRIMH!! I cant remember the name, but he played with 2 guitarists and they made 2 or 3 songs. No lyrics. Wanted then to make an album. I'm sure you k ow what I'm talking about, but the name escapes me now.
Lokust guiltless
