She's metal as fuck n never knew it cuz she was never exposed to it but now that she's heard it she knows she's metal as fuck, kinda dope seeing her find herself
Not everyone likes it, because they either can’t stand the intensity or don’t like the feelings it may bring to the surface. Or both. I couldn’t stand Korn for a while until my depression got worse. But I did listen to disturbed for years. Now I can’t live without Korn.👍
my motto is: your favorite song is out there waiting for you to find it. it might be in another language, or a different genre, but are you going to let that keep you from finding your favorite music?
Brad - “Would you rather be in Hell with your partner, or would you rather be in Heaven all alone?” Lex - “Hell all day, we’re burning together!” 🔥 Profound philosophical question and a perfect response. Lol 7:03
Like... everything! Haha agreed! Their new stuff is also banging! Memento Mori.. scared the living hell out of me in the car, I was like "this track broken..? BOOM" haha
Lol agreed! Definitely my one of my favorite bands. They are soooo talented! And yes I think Lex is a metal head at heart too. I was thinking that the other day watching them react to a Metallica video lol
It’s a positive message. When you feel alone and nobody is there with you, Randy will “Walk with you in hell” so you’re not alone. He’s had a lot of struggles as well.
Lex hit the nail on the head! Mark Morton(Guitarist) wrote this as a love song for his wife. It's about being together through thick and thin and living through this life together! "Take hold of my hand, for you are no longer alone, walk with me in hell" One of my favourite bands! Respect from The UK, 0121! 🤘🏼
the lyrics first had me thinking this waas maybe about a miscarriage or something, but after researching a little bit, it just seems to be a through thick and thin type of song...
it was absout the death of his daughter and him and his wife listening to the hum of the machines and the sounds of her breaths as she took her last.its deeper than just dedicated to his wife. its about their journey through their own personal hell.
One of my favorites by them is a song called “vigil” I can’t explain why but it’s such a mood to listen to it. The slowness of the song and the deep ness of the lyrics is my perfect storm
This is awesome to see her fall in love with metal for the first time. She can’t explain it any better than it touches her soul lol. That’s what music does.
Lex you got it this was actually a love song of sorts I believe it was the guitarist wrote this for his wife after a miscarriage hence the lie of this life line
I have been watching you guys for a long time now, I would like to thank both of you for how endearing and infectious your personalities are. Genuinely cheers me up, so thank you!
Her eyes literally shot wide open within the first few seconds of the song. Its great watching her discover she is a metal head at heart. Its a beautiul thing to witness.
Oddly enough this was written as a love song… attempting to explain to someone that they are NEVER alone, even if they are in hell. This is Groove-metal. Incredible lyrics, ridiculous talent across all members, sweeping solos… this band has it all. Mark Morton is a genius on lead guitar, and Randy Blythe writes beautiful lyrics. I would highly, highly recommend continuing to listen to LoG. Want an example of their pinnacle? Listen to “Reclamation” off of the Wrath album. It will BLOW YOUR MIND.
"It speaks to my soul!" I love that. That's how I've always felt about it when people ask why I like metal. Glad you guys are enjoying this type of music! Lamb of God- Laid To Rest should be next! Love the videos!
Dude this song right here......the BIGGEST pit I've ever seen!!!! It was sooooooo amazing to be a part of it and it will forever live rent free in my head

SO pumped to see you guys listen to Lamb of God! They have so many awesome songs and their lyrics are always wild. Please keep going with them!!! Omerta, Momento Mori, Ruin, Redneck....just to name a few! \,,/
I just discovered you guys, and I just got to say Lex is adorable to watch. I like how you both watch the lyrics and try to find the meaning of the songs. I love all kinds of music, but I must say that metal is my calling. Thank you both for what you do and I look forward to more of your reactions. :)
You guys are great. The chemistry you have is just perfect. Brad as the kind of cool straight man, and Lex as this wonderful firecracker of emotion. I've really grown fond of you two. Keeping doing what you're doing.

"Hope dies in hands of believers who see the truth in the liar's eye" is the line that I always think of when I think of the current state of our political climate. I'm glad you guys watched the lyric video and reacted to it. The absolute poetry within their catalog gets lost sometimes because of the way their vocals are delivered. Amazing video and glad I found you guys. Enjoyed this reaction!
It is a perfect storm! Seeing them in concert gave me chills and prolly will seeing them again... The message of this song is so perfect, check out how and what inspired the lyrics and then Randy's vocals on it breathes life into it!
I feel you Lex! Lamb of God has been one of my favorite bands for years and I feel you!!! I feel the same you feel when I listen to this, it's just a perfect storm, it pulls you in and you just FEEL IT! I love it! Great videos!!
Lex totally nailed the meaning. It's about the fact that life is going to be horrible sometimes no matter what, and having someone to go through all that with is what real love is about. People don't realise that at its core, this is a love song.
Now picture hearing this song as a social outcast teenager going through the trials and tribulations of high school and puberty, feeling lost and alone in the early/mid 2000s...often on the brink of suicide...through a voice you idolize saying "walk with me through hell". This song is one of a handful that changed my life and it makes me smile to see you guys get that just a general message. Please keep doing what you're doing because not only are you spreading this type of message to those whom otherwise wouldn't hear it, you're also reigniting a flame in those of us who've grown up with the tunes and is now ringing a bit hollow so to speak. I would however encourage you guys to go into these reactions with the lyrics pulled up on the side to help you along the way. Much love and much thanks!
Without the meaning of the lyrics (which I'm sure many will many explain), I'll go into why you may like this. The first is the chords/scales. Some metal that I listen to/play is written in mostly minor or diminished scales, which sound dark, evil, or mysterious. This is by design, as those scales/chords convey that exact response in people (which is why they are used in movie scores). In the case of this song it is not just that, but the use of the timing of the melody which is in a 6/4 whereas the rhythm is in standard 4/4 which means that everything seems off until the melody and rhythm meet at certain and exact points (like 12 and 24). This causes the ears to listen to a pattern that isn't readily expected, but ends up falling in line eventually. To a casual listener, this will throw them off for a bit but not too much. This conveys tension which I believe in incredibly important in music. LoG did it very well with this song as I feel it melds with the lyrics to bring a sense of uncertainty and resolve. If you'd like, I can do a video call explaining stuff from a guitar perspective.
So glad you checked these guys out, been listening to them for near 20 years now! They have some seriously awesome music, and some pretty crazy history. I won't spoil it here because you can unwrap their story as you go, it's part of the experience. Thanks Brad and lex Edit: damn not even 1 like showing up. Sad sad

You better take that girl to a metal show ASAP. It’s in her soul. Lamb of God is great live too.
I’ve seen LOG 5 times in the last 4 years an absolute treat!!!
I saw them with Testament, Anthrax and Slayer and when I tell y’all it was a show!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
