I have been collecting cobi for a few years now and I specifically love their tanks, i currently have 8 tanks and i love all of them, same quality as LEGO
i agree but what about their minifigs?
Honestly i find it better than lego - I dont know what happened to lego QC but I found few pieces to be loose etc. Not talking even about the price difference. Also Cobi feels more like old lego (which is better in my opinion, more brick built) whereas lego has milions of specialized pieces

The first cobi lego set i got was the f18 and it was a good lego set but it would randomly fall apart and most pieces are missing
I just built this, and it's awesome.
I replaced mechanism in the vertical stabilizers with lego blocks, and now it is a solid surface, without gaps. Also, for all you people who, like me, do not like the wheels-down configuration, you can take the wheels off, and in their place use 4 superfluous 1x2 gray plates. They can be found in the jet exhaust subassembly, beneath the huge gray cilinders. They serve no purpose whatsoever.
Once you do all of this, the jet looks much cleaner.

I'm a LEGO purist, but I love watching some of these Cobi models being built. I like that they invent new elements. I wouldn't be surprised if Lego themselves started using some of these SNOT elements. Let's be frank - latest Lego models are becoming less and less "standard" and have lost a huge amount of their creative replay value (MOC creators might argue, but many of them are professional grownups from creative or engineering industry). Also they are really hard to take apart because of the Technic skeletons. And almost every new Creator set introduces a model specific slope, colour or Technic piece etc. Now, about this specific model... It's such a pity the air intakes are painted :(
The way that Cobi sometimes makes 1 by 3 tile assemblies makes my OCD go up
also how the minifigure has no legs 💀
I really like those 2x2 plates on the bottom that flip the polarity of the bricks, I've been wishing lego would make those for over 20 years!

Tolles Video, wie immer. Das Modell überzeugt mich diesmal nicht 100%, gerade das Leitwerk wirkt sehr klobig. Das hat Wange mit seiner F15 besser gelöst. Diese ist auch im Maßstab 1:48 und kostet um die 20€ - vielleicht bietet sich da ein Vergleichsvideo an?
Mit dem Formteilen für die Leitwerke bei der F-14 hat es Cobi definitiv besser gelöst. Würde mir wünschen, wenn sie das generell so machen würden. So sieht das alles andere als stimmig aus.
Finally built myself in Cobi bricks but took me 5 WHOLE hours to build
I did mines the Tiger 1 standard version and it took me 1 day because of the PARTS and INSTRUCTIONS
