Yes another great cobi speed build i been watching this videos in my parents account for about a year, now i can watch this in my own account..
I just finished building this helicopter. And it looks really great!
The fuselage is actually quite sturdy, only the wings and missile racks are too fragile.
I would recommend this set only for fans of the AH-64. I you want to have fun with the build or even use it as a toy then you should select some other set.
You could use Glue if you are finding it to be not sturdy
The main rotor is fragile?
@@kar_karich_The rotor is attached only on four studs. So it can fall off, but then you just put it back on, no big deal.

It's a nice model, but there are some issues. It tries to be super-realistic, but in some places it's just kind of funny. The hellfires are way too huge, and I feel like the gun could have had a lot more detail.
That looks pretty good if a little fragile. If any of you are fans of the Apache I would tell you to also check out the Mega Bloks model. I own one and it's fantastic. The build,the look,the extras,10 out of 10. It even has full rockets in the pods next to the missiles not just tips or holes like this one has on the outer wing hard points. Cobi rocks! Just got done the Iowa/ Missouri and it's longer than my Yamato. The Yamato is thicker though. Happy building.
I have 5 of the Mega Bloks Anti armor helicopter sets and they were worth every penny.
The megabloks one is like $600 new this one is $60 so I’ll take this one

@@JaredOtto yeh , the only way i think lego is useful is if i need to build a scene to ho with my cobi but apart form that is expensive , overrated and underwhelming

For pieces that come ofFor pieces that come off easily I use thin strips of paper (thinner / smaller than the pieces), the pressure they exert when assembling is enough so that they do not separate by handling
I recommend making them slightly smaller than the pieces to fit.

The rotor and stabilizer are a bit fragile same with the rockets I recommend gluing them If you have the same problem

This particular model appears to be the AH-64D Longbow variant, unless it is the AH-64E Guardian variant but idk
PS Mega Bloks may not the the most realistic but is still arguably better
This kit seems like it needs to be glued together at some spots.

Unfortunate, this set makes me think of a lot of the MOCs that exist out there; looks fantastic, but you never want to handle it because of the fragility. I suppose this comes to the question, are COBI sets like this meant to be display pieces or play pieces? Age recommendations aside, I suppose probably the former.
