These are simply beautiful and the tracking really takes it to the next level. Gorgeous, thank you!

You’re right. The tracking makes it very special looking. I remember the first time I got tracking and was so disappointed. You definitely put it in a new perspective for me and now it doesn’t bother me.

Very nice! Thank you for the tutorial. I would also enjoy learning the more complex, gradual color blending technique you mentioned.

Once again these are lovely. I think they are a great example of how special tabby weave can look and I think the tracking adds to that special look. As a new weaver I really appreciate the time you take to explain your process clearly.....even if the maths still boggles my mind a bit😳. I'm assured this will come with time and practice. Going back to look at the earlier videos in the series.

Thank you! Plain weave /tabby is so versatile, especially when combined with clever placement of colour, and is always my go to. X

Love the gradient of the warp.

    Luscious colors 💕
Also that exchange of threads at the color changes is so very effective!

I don’t own a loom yet, so please excuse my lack of knowledge. I’m curious-when you were a beginner, how long did it take you to complete a towel?

Hello! To be honest, I can’t remember haha. I would guess approx triple what I can do now. Everything takes longer as a beginner because there is no muscle memory, and you need to think carefully about each step. But as with all things, practice brings speed and competency to everything we put our minds to. Hope this helped!
