OUCH!! Excellent job with a broken wrist. Lovely to see you Steph. .. a very striking pattern with the black and white. Would be interested to see a video on the program you use. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Your wish is my command! Haha. Yes, as I will be limited in weaving for the next few weeks, I’m working on a ‘how to’ video for the software I use, hopefully coming out in the next couple of weeks 😊
The iWeaveIt software is great. I use it for my projects too. There is a bit of a learning curve though, and not all of the options are as intuitive as I would have liked, but I got there in the end. I'm looking forward to your video on the program. You likely have tips or tricks that I have not figured out yet.
Sorry about your wrist! I love the pattern and your tensioning device - now have the dowels and such to make one for my loom. What software did you use to design your pattern?
Sorry to hear about your wrist... I'm sure you would rather have been resting it. I love log cabin and the black and white is very dramatic. Also nice to put a face to the voice. ❤
Hi, these are beautiful! I am. going to try to follow your pattern and i have the warp all figured out,i just want to make sure that the weaving sequence is the one written underneath the one that is scratched out? I am surprised you used a 12.5 reed but i will give it a try i would have thought that yarn would be too thick. Hope that wrist is feeling almost all better.
Hi, thank you! I used 12.5 as I find a I prefer a firmer towel, however you can definitely use a 10 if you prefer! Here is the warp and weft sequence. BBWBWBBWBW Repeat, and end with a BB. B= black and W = white. Good luck !
My daughter in law is from California and she won’t go near it! 😂. I think it’s an acquired taste! But it has been my preferred breaky for more years than I care to count.
Beautiful and amazing with a broken wrist…
Thank you!
These turned out great, but my heart went out to you when you broke your wrist🩷 Hope you heal quickly. Take care, Lee
Thank you! After a 2 month break I’m back weaving! So I’m very happy xx
Oh, so pretty..
I wish you speedy nd full(!) recovery, thank you SO much for sharing this, it´s lovely!
Thank you so much!
Those look great
Thank you ☺️

Lovely, thanks for sharing the new tool (I had not seen a tensioner for a rigid heddle loom)
You are very welcome ☺️

Thank you! I use iWeaveIt software for iPad. I’m working on a ‘how to’ video for this, so keep an eye out for it in the coming weeks. 😊

Thank you! I’m resting it now lol. Luckily I have some other content to put up over the next couple of weeks while I heal.
@@RigidHeddleWeavinginBrisbane That's great Steph. I always look forward to your videos.

Love toast and Vegemite but my American kids won’t eat it.
