    I truly enjoy watching your videos. I am new to weaving and can say I have learned much from you. Very descriptive and detailed instruction. Like you I find weaving soothing and relaxing.

    Love them both!! I think having the blue and green different widths in the warp is a great design!!

    Love the subtle play of yellow and white! Never noticed the optical trick before

    I believe the saying originated from sailors who did not want to paint boats green for fear of overturning them would make it more difficult to be seen/found in the ocean. Beautiful work as per usual Steph! Thanks for all your inspiration 😘

      Thank you so much! That's an interesting origin to the saying, I had never heard that one before, but it makes total sense!

    ‘Blue and green should never be seen except with something in between’
    No idea where it came from but have had it stuck in my head since childhood x

      Me too! Haha. Would love to know the origin, even google doesn’t know!

      This was my mom's rule too!
      Also red and pink could not be together!

      😂 how funny that a saying is literally known world wide! Definitely generational also.

      Hello! I use iWeaveIt for iPad. I have a video on how I use it, which might help also. Thank you!

    Do you do anything with your waste yarn?

    • @RigidHeddleWeavinginBrisbane
      @RigidHeddleWeavinginBrisbane  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello! Yes. The bulky ends that I cut off I use for pillow stuffing, pet bed stuffing etc (undo the knots of course) and the yarn on shuttles I wind off and keep. Every so often I’ll use it as scrap yarn and also do a scrap yarn towel or 2 to use it up 😊. Hope this helps!
