If you set your heddle in the back slots of your double heddle block while you are threading it won't fall.

You are so right! That would make it so much easier to thread. I will try this, thank you!

Beautiful as usual. Your design sense is lovely. My loom is still boxed up from moving last week, and I can’t wait to get it out and make some of these myself. But which of these towel sets shall I make first?🤔🥰

I am a self-taught weaver and I have learned so much from your videos. I love the yarn holder you use for warping. Do you sell the plans for it? Thank you again for your inspiring designs.

Hello! Thank you so much, and no. I bought this at a local haberdashery, I think it’s originally for displaying ribbons, but it’s perfect for holding yarn!

These videos have been so inspiring. I had wanted to get a rigid heddle project going and your videos motivated me. Thank you. One question, in one video you called for a 76" warp. Is that measured from face of heddle to warping pegs? Im never sure how much waste to calculate over towel lengths.

Thank you so much! The length of warp is from the back of the heddle where you clamp, to the pegs 😊

Hello Steph, mistakenly I’ve purchased 8/2 cotton, not 8/4. What size heddle do I use or can I double the cotton?

Hello! Double your cotton in the 10 dent, this should work out fine! You can also either use a single weft! Making it more warp dominant, or you can double the yarn in the weft and get a similar result to mine. Let me know how you go!

Ty for this message. My yarn came yesterday and I thought the spools seemed small. When I saw this comment, it clicked, I ordered the 8/2 as well! Glad to know I'm not alone. I will try the doubling. I'm wondering if there are patterns that use a marled effect like you might do in knitting holding 2 different yarns together.

Not that I know of, but what an interesting concept!
